THAT is why I dislike IC, it ruined the amazing legacy that both that mod and author had. It had a unique concept and an amazing guy behind it, now that's gone due to one of hundreds of science mods out there,
I will not let it ruin thaumcraft!

The whole reason for stuff being in a mod PACK is so you can use it all at once.

You silly little man, It was Ye Olde Goone Squad that was the clan, who then formed The Game Station and the Y.O.G.S Cast

also did you ever make full inferno Armour even with ic2 it takes an age to make , learn things before going on about them

I think the sciency mods take more resources to complete their endgame type stuff but I don't think the items used are rarer.
Im having a hard enough time getting knowledge fragments just to unlock more of my research lol.

Have to say I dont really think the science mods or magic mods are better than each other, both have their merits and fun stuff.
I choose to focus on thaumcraft just because Id like to be a wizard, with a tower... and tiny golems lol.

So I just fell through my own floor infinitely then when I tried to use my potato portal gun to fix it I got to watch it drop instead and sit on the ground inches in front of me whenever I snapped back to the floor. Which means it was just eaten by the server. D:

To bring you up to date you pretty much only need to read the bottom of page 59, from my post to the bottom.

As the FTB discussion has pretty much flooded this thread with discussions on Thaumcraft (which is not in the Tekkit server), should I make a new thread?

It takes more than a minute to open a chest most of the time...

You mentioned before that your internet speed is often really slow. If other people are not having the same issue as you, then that is likely the problem. FTB (and Tekkit) require more bandwidth than regular Minecraft due to all the activity that goes on.

It's really fast though today. No-one else is using the internet beyond the background Wi-Fi of one iPad.
It's just on the server at the moment.
It hasn't given me more than half of the connection bar. I'm not expecting you to wave your magic USB wand and fix it, I'm just noting it.

Although Youtube is sluggish too...

Who are your providers? I'm on Virgin media and we haven't had any slow-downs, just a couple of disconnects late at night that could easily be put down to the modem being one of the original NTL ones from many moons ago.

People. When going quarry diving and making branch mines, LIGHT UP YO SHIZZLE. I was strip mining with my trusty pick- I found diamonds. YAY. There's 3 creepers behind them. BOO. There's 2 Angry Zombies when I go to grab my stuff. BOO. There's another Creeper that blows up half my loot. BOOOOOOOOO.

Light your tunnels in the Mining Age. I lost 2-3 diamonds, a diamond pick, 3 sapphire picks, and who knows how much iron ore and Xychromium, plus almost 30 levels of experience I was saving up for a good mining enchantment pick. (I did get the pick, but BOOOO).

agreed, i died 2 times and lost 10lvls in matapatas quarry cause of it
