No.
Hey, it's true, Nurgle is the God of #YOLO.
Lexicanum wrote:All the Chaos gods are embodiments of the hopes, fears and other strong emotions and concepts generated by the mortal races. In Nurgle's case, the source of power is the living's fear of inevitable death and disease, and their unconscious response to that fear, which is the "power of life", the motivating power of mankind and other races.
Nurgle is the God of going out and doing things, because you only have one life and you can't afford to waste it.
#YOLO, #swag, #smart
Yeah, no. Wasn't saying no to the suggestion he is the god of..."that", merely trying to block out your usage of hashtags, "Yolo", and "swag".
Come on; we're better than that.
You're just jealous of my bitchin' new avatar and my swagger.

Unfortunately choppy has taken a rear seat in both the new edition and the new codex.
Khorne isn't the God of War. All of the main Chaos Gods and most of the minor ones pursue war. Khorne is the God of Anger.
A follower of Khorne could be a 10,000 year old, daemonically corrupted Traitor Legionnaire. A follower of Khorne could also be a passive aggressive housewife.
http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Khorne
Khorne, also called the Blood God and the Lord of Skulls, is the Chaos God of Blood, War, and Murder. His domain covers the most basic and brutal of sentient emotions and actions, such as hate, anger, rage, war, and killing. Every act of killing or murder in the material universe gives Khorne power; the more senseless and destructive, the better. However, though Khorne is the God of bloody slaughter, he is also the God of martial pride and honour, of those who set themselves against the most dangerous foes and earn victory against the odds.

Furyou Miko wrote:However, this is a discussion on 'coolness', so by being the god of a stupid, irritating acronym, Nurgle automatically loses.
On the other hand, Slaanesh may be the god of pleasure, but Nurgle's the only one who's married.
"However, there is a single Craftworld which tells the tale of Isha surviving her fate, being claimed by Slaanesh as his. She cried out for help and was heard by Nurgle who entered into a long war with his newest peer. Nurgle emerged victorious and took Isha as his companion. A goddess of rejuvenation and a god of decay seemed an odd pairing, but Nurgle adores her like no other. However, Nurgle shows his adoration as only a Chaos god can, keeping her trapped in a cage in the garden of Nurgle, in the corner of a room where he keeps the cauldron in which he creates all of his plagues.
Being a goddess of healing, Isha can cure herself of any of Nurgle's diseases. Nurgle takes advantage of this by force-feeding her his latest creation and sees how long it takes the goddess to overcome its effects. If he is pleased, he releases it upon some unsuspecting world, if not, he starts over, working at his cauldron until he has something new to give to his 'companion'. Whilst he is busy working though, Isha takes advantage of his distraction to instruct mortals on how to rid themselves of Nurgle's poxes." - wh40k.Lexicanum
You can't help but read that and smile. Nurgle isn't hurting her as we understand it. It's more of a sit-com than domestic abuse. Plus, Nurgle genuinely cares about her. Hell, Nurgle cares about each and every follower. In the Grimdarkness of the 41st Millennium, Nurgle is the only one who is well adjusted and cares about how your day was.

For me it's a toss up between the Lucifer of 40k (Slaanesh) and the parody of the abrahamic god (Nurgle)

Also, Malice is stupid. Wouldn't spite and hatred be covered under Khorne's domain?

Malice is much more than hate and spite. (hell, I'm pretty sure he doesn't even cover hate and spite).
He represents anarchy, terror, and how chaos is (should be) indiscriminately destructive towards everything including itself. Malice's ideal outcome in 40k is that everyone kills each other and no one comes out on top. Mutually Assured Destruction I suppose

I thought Chaos Gods were supposed to be founded in emotions.

Individuals who want the world to burn and don't mind burning with it and only keep others around themselves as long as they serve a purpose probably would feed Malice. Glee in the destruction of everything.

You'll notice those individuals are few and far between. That was reflected in Malal's fluff. There are very few followers of Malice, since they tended to kill each other. That had an unfortunate side effect of relegating him to lesser god status.
