Building a me Warboss as a special character as well as just a cool looking boss for normal games. Nearly finished, all I need is green stuff to finish up, I have to fill in his wrist, neck, armpit, leg and GS his beard in. So itll look a LITTLE different after that. Anyways C&C!

Sorry KC, it's terrible. Only thing you can do now is take a hammer to it.

While the modeling itself is great, It looks to busy on the front with the Tyranid cod piece ha has going. I recommend getting rid of it.

Tubing is from a Q-tip

I will definitely post a painted version once I finish the model, but that will be a little while.



hotsauceman1 - Not gunna happen. Also, Im adding a beard with braids as Ive mentioned already, so that will cover a good chunk of the carapace.

i rather like it, one thing though is that the sword handle seems a touch long, you should hang some trophies off it or something to distract from this

Hmmmm I see what youre saying. I have been looking at that as well. Once I get GS I plan on making a handle wrap for it and that might help a bit. I wanted to handle long on purpose, because of the special rules for the weapon, I wanted to give it that look of, "yep, he uses two hands when krumping with that thing" The only problem Im having with trophies on it, is they look out of place. It has that iron halo on the pommel......so theres that


Thats another reason Im not taking off the carapace gut portecty thingy. I had that idea long ago and really like it, it really gives him character I think. Not to mention, his special rules he has a 3+ save, and when I plan on using him as a normal boss, he will be a MegaBoss, and all the metal and a giant carapace chunk of Nid as a gut protecty thingy, its not much of a stretch to see that 2+ save.

Awesome! A Warboss after my own heart. I don't think the sword handle is too long - the blade is too small! Also - it (the sword) looks a bit plain - are you planning to add more to it? Some bolted on "teeth" would probably make it. As you were!

and I concur the sword needs riveted on teeth to make it really menacing and dangerous! as swords with plain blades just don't 'urt enuff!
