What I meant by my fishing expedition, Mark, is that we are still semi-solid on that Q2 2014 delivery date, so far?

Nononono I, unlike some companies, want my retailers to do well. By all means please support your local retailers or online merchants of your choice.

As far as I know this is still accurate information. If I find out anything different I will post an update.

The problem is, it is VERY hard for myself and WGF to know exactly where we are until we hit T1. They can do a load of work and then pass it to me for review/approval and I may send it back for changes or to have a model cut up to deal with a mold split that caused issues with the appearance of the kit.

These are looking great, but the thing I'm holding out for is a second force.
In order to get anyone interested in my gaming circle, they need to see demo games in play. This means I always end up building 2 small starter armies. So I'm holding out for another faction!

So the Opfor will have large Leviathan like bots or well the leviathans will look like them anyway having been reverse engineered from them?

Agreed.... I believe that it will stretch into the middle of 2015 but that depends on many things. My goal is to have the work done by the end of this year. We shall see.

Just a heads up guys.

Miniaturemarket.com is having a pre-moving sale, and some of the weapon arms are on their site for 50% off $17.50 an arm while supplies last. The leviathans currently are not extra discounted, but might go in the next few weeks..

Awesome, thanks for the tip (just the tip).... I just grabbed the capacitor coolers I really wanted, and the mauler arm to boot. Finally, my inability to paint anything in a timely manner pays off, since now I can do this all at the same time!

Speaking of, I can't wait until the Valkir have a retail release. I'm not crazy about the default helmets but I love, love, love the knight-style helms that are also included. It looks like an incredible kit, I want to start an Eisenkern army now.

Esthetically, they will not look like the Eisenkern Leviathans. The Shadokesh are more technologically advanced and the designs will reflect that.

Some of the features like the TR band tubes (the things that look like hydraulics are the best adaptation of what the Shadokesh are capable of. The Shadokesh use an impeller like device, the push provided in the same way the TR bands perform but rather than using a tube to contain the force and direct the push, the Shadokesh are able to simply hide a finned mechanism inside the joints; each fin bearing the force generated by the TR band.

This same drive technique is what is used to move the Eisenkern APC (a more recent addition to their armory).

Well, in either case, coil guns, funny as instead of las-cannons, my army fluff uses coil gun tech for the stats, just for the heck of it all!

Those heavy troopers and the varied Hanomags,,,,,can't wait!

The powered armor looks great, but I have to admit that I don't really care for the weapons. They just don't quite "work" for me. Still, that's probably fixable with aftermarket parts and the actual PA models look darned nice!

That would be an excellent way of tying male and female squads into a cohesive whole.

Do the kits have a "not a melta" type weapon, or just the rocket launchers?

I'm not as familiar with these kits, but they look amazing - especially the new ones.

The storm trooper only have an RPG type weapon. There is a box set of the heavy troopers that will contain energy weapons. The preview of the final models has not yet been posted. they will likely be the next post.

There shouldn't be as the issue was with the extra arms only. My box had the right armor in it.

They aren't out yet. They are wave three, hopefully that issue has been resolved and WGF remembers to pack them with the 15mm arms.

I think the ornamental shield is only on the sword arms (at least, this is how it was for my resin Leviathans, still waiting for my 15mm Mortises from this ).

Am I to take it that this means that the Shadokesh are definitely going to be the second fleshed-out faction for Iron-Core? (forgive me if this has been already stated somewhere back in the thread...)

Okay, well it shouldn't be too hard to magnetize it to the ripper arm.
