If he just runs demos of the production version of KD:M, that would be good enough.

Is there a way for you to find out if the CMoN booth will still be selling KD stuff or not? Would be much appreciated for my mornng planning.

Yeah, I'll ask.

Given all he's said and done to date I really, really doubt he'll be selling KD: M at Gencon - if there are even any ready to sell, of course!

I doubt Monster will be sold. At most he might have one away on a raffle or something.

I'm mostly concerned if the resins will be sold at the CMoN booth or the KD booth. I was already headed to CMoN to pick up the Dark Age releases, and if they sell the KD resins there it'll be one stop shipping for me when the doors open for the unwashed masses Thursday.

@Thanks cincy, I appreciate it.

Last year cmon had a few of the resins but at a glance I wasn't sure if it was pre Kickstarter stuff or not.

They've had them at least the four years I've been going.

They're the same resins sold in the KD store. I'm assuming he casts a bunch of different stuff to sell specifically at Gencon. Besides resin versions without rules nothing in the kickstarter has been released.

CMoN will NOT have any KD product this year, as KD has their own booth and should be selling there.

Newest email from KD talks about the GenCon booth they have (confirmed that Monster will be there for demo, but not sale) and a Sci-Fi version of the Twilight Knight that will be for sale.

It seems during GenCon they are offering Monster for $275 instead of $400. Pretty solid savings, with delivery to occur in October (projected).

Pretty awesome news all around.

Kingdom Death at Gen Con!
Booth #2921!
A last-minute windfall allowed us to secure an otherwise impossible to score booth at Gen Con Indy 2015! We've only had 3 weeks to prepare for the show so we've decided to bring out KD: Monster, to show off the incredible components, the crushing volume of game content, art, and miniatures, and even a slice of gameplay in a live demo! In addition Monster will be available for pre-order at a special convention-only price.

If you're at the show, please come out and visit us at booth 2921. The KD team is there demo-ing Monster and excited to meet you and answer any question!

We've also have a brand--new new hard plastic miniature debuting exclusively at Gen Con, A Sci-Fi version of the Twilight Knight pinup. We couldn't resist sending some iconic designs to space!! Please enjoy.

NOO~! Let us pray the model becomes available through the store.

Edit: See below.

It's HIPS plastic so there should be a large quantity made.

Expect a lot more tantrums and demands of "we should be first because we're special" as new things that haven't appeared during the Kickstarter and are for the game are released.

I was hoping for something like that- hope they're selling some other stuff too.

I think alot of the anger is due in part that Poots cant deliver updates when he says he will. His lack of communication is annoying to say the least. Its understandable he would not have time to make an update if he is preparing for GenCon, but it seems he cant be bothered to just pop in and at least let people know.

You'll still be able to buy one, as they'll be on his webstore after GENCON 2015.

True, but KD models come with a customs tag that is prohibitive.

I don't know if we've seen pricing for an individual model in HIPs yet though...this one's price might be surprising.

And in a good way!

There was the Xmas Twilight Knight, but that was 54 mm, I believe, and also limited to the one (annual / forever?) run.
