No, nothing has been sent out yet. Jon said it would be a couple of weeks after the KS before it went out.

Survey will be a couple of weeks, which was addressed in last Monday's update.
I know people aren't used to updates having actual information posted in them, but I guess I'm a rebel and doing things the way KS suggests that we communicate with our backers.

It's the same, it just rendered funny as the parts weren't fused and that impacts the lighting for some reason.

End part is barrel, mid part is jacket/recoil cover that barrel recoils into when firing.
That's my take on it

Same guns but with a muzzle brake added, IMO it makes the guns look really stubby but throwing it out there to see what people like

Although I really like the brakes I agree that it does make the guns seem too stubby, best without I think.

Really like the brakes, they'd just need slightly longer barrels. (or would that be prohibitively more expensive to produce?)

The changes were due to wanting to reduce the piece count but also shorten them from the current version as they are really long and unwieldy, especially for a light mech.
They were shortened down, brought in tighter with the body, lowered a bit and staggered rather than being paired vertically.
Old Version:

Don't care for those brakes at all and I don't think it gels with the overall aesthetic. Bit late to change horses now.

The brake are too big and barrels too short. A longer barrel and smaller brake would look and feel better IMHO.

Since they are autocannons and not machine guns, I don't think it's unreasonable to lengthen the barrels and add muzzle breaks to make them more menacing than MGs.

I like the old versions. I can see the reasoning behind the new versions.
I think the thing gets me is that there are no obvious ammo hoppers on the new versions, as opposed to the old ones.
I know you stated that the Lasers have a different look that makes them stand out as different, but I think the ammo hoppers on the old ones do that very well.
Is it possible to make the barrels thinner without compromising their ability to cast well?

I've unleashed a monster.
At some point likely close to Halloween I'll do some non-official rules for monsters using the 6mm stuff and figures in the monsterpocalypse scale. I'll make use of both the large monsters and also a bunch of the smaller ones that'll in effect be monster youths/hatchlings.
When I was initially working on the game I'd had it with giant alien invaders but shifted away from it as I wanted to focus more on a human based red dawn style conflict. Plus doing the models for monsters added some difficulty into the mix as I can't model organics very well and at least with the mecha I can do those myself. If at a future point I can pester Jason into sculpting some more stuff for me (he did my wolves) then I may make some monsters for the heck of it but they'll remain an un-official elements of the game.

You could totally release monster models and rules as a "Nazi Zombies"-style goofy expansion like all the video games do nowadays. Call it MonstaFront.
