I kind of thought they were going to horn in on the Daemonettes' turf with that one.
On the plus side, the fantasy ones will probably be the same as the scifi variants, with just a different set of accessories and an alternate hat, (like the models they already sell) which will probably cut down on the time factor involved.
1. Shipping out the freebies is not what I expected, it is however a nice gesture of good will, especially seeing as they're the ones paying for it.
2. Six armies in two weeks, this will be interesting. I think they're hoping to replicate the quick-fund wonder of their first one where they managed to get funded in mere minutes. Only time will tell..
3. Well now, we've also got solid dates now, so it is time for me to go to work.
Well it's three armies, with some alterations made to the three to make sci-fi versions of them.

War criminal? That's a bit overly dramatic don't you think?

Perhaps, but given RH's track record, I could see the fantasy and sci-fi versions of the figures being (or becoming) significantly different - and potentially a large number of their unique heroes that won't cross over from the two subgenres.
I think we all kind of love the TGG sculpts. We just want them to be here already, FFS.

I figure I can use the Winged Mother as a Nekima counts as for Malifaux.

Your work is simply amazing - I just got one of your models at the weekend and am really enjoying painting her. One question though, my apologies if it's already been answered, though I can't trawl through 286 pages! Will you be moving to plastic at any point? I find it easier to work than metal, and less likely to bend as the metal model that I have, has.

Thanks!
No one here works at Raging heroes, we just like to jabber on about how much we hate/love them so much ...quite a bit apparently

We'll see how this all turns out. Though the "we have to do a new Kickstarter now if we want to ensure the future of Raging Heroes" line did sound somewhat dire. Maybe they'll stick to their deadlines a bit more now and exert a harder control on when something is actually done instead of fine tuning things to insane standards.

This time they might even withdraw funds from paypal instead of leaving it sitting in there for nearly a year so it gets locked when everyone complains that it's two years late.

Isn't using new investors to pay off old investors a ponzi scheme?

Actually, that's a concern. It just came to mind - but if they're about to ship the freebies now - at not insignificant expense - how far away IS Wave 3?

Any idea if it's resin or metal we are talking about? (At least for Nepharya, I assume zombies are only resin)

That is a scary point indeed. The mecha are still unseen outside of renders.

They didn't specify either way. I would assume they would parallel the metal and resin and the same time but that's purely conjecture.
I fear that RH has all but run out of money, due to the extended quest for artistic perfection that TGG became, not to mention their own comments about finance. Unfortunately, this might mean that they fall into the endless KS cycle, seemingly unable to do anything outside of a KS, and always needing another KS to pay their current bills (like Mierce).
And let's face it, even if it weren't RH, who always took a little longer to do things (unlike AoW - who take a LOT longer) the inevitable unforeseen delays of KS mean that at (or towards) the end of this next one, they might be in even more dire trouble. Obviously I hope not, since they're very good at making lovely models, but it's a real concern.
Let's hope they have actually learned from the first adventure and have spent some long hours thinking hard on how to run this so much more daunting second campaign.
I also hope they have some prints of minis at the ready at the outset of the campaign this time round.

Seems pretty unlikely given that we have not seen prints of quite a few minis from the currentKS.
