Well sash, having it painted before hand beats the time purpose.
As such i am going to have to ask you start with a in complete model for this convention.
Prebuilt is completely fine! However, prepainted is like a cheat.

Finally some good Smitty brand WIPs for you guys! I was originally going to do a couple of basilisk, but then I noticed an untended and unloved model sitting behind my work station.
Behold! The first (and currently, only) Leman Russ Vanquisher from the Cadian 7th Armoured! I re-primed the model from a horrible mistake I made, so now it will get the glory it finally deserves!

Yes, 1/48 Heavy tanks are the better scale for converting, 1/35 scale lights are about the Chimera sized models.
