This jumped a huge amount since the last time I saw it! Fantastic work on the can, never would have thought to make corrugated iron from it, really neat.
Did you use resin for the water?

Thanks TH much appreciated, yep. For little projjects like this I use poundland special 2 part epoxy. drys clear and is easy enough to work with. Not the best though. I tend to end up with lots of bubbles in the "water" but not on the surface so I am happy enough.

Very cool. The idea of "neat a spaceship, lets loot it" from some peoples that would for sure not have access to that tech normally is very grimdark.

I have one of those corrugators, but have yet to use it and was wondering where I would get metal for it. Now it seems so obvious! How did you slice up the can? Just a craft knife or something?

The whole thing looks excellent. I especially like the water effects underneath it.

How is it that you aren’t working for industrial light and magic? Working with our quality supplies you crank out these gems, I’d love to see what you could do with real prop studio equipment and backing.

@Fifty, Just used scissors bud, think I pierced it first with a knife. Be careful the metal is sharp.

Quick distraction, more really just messing about whilst I make a couple things...











Made some molds and cast some stuff...








So basically, quick knock up of a foam core structure and then I add a few resin pieces, make a few molds to add a few more resin bits, and getting there, much of the interior is pattern printed paper and stuck in. Obviously got a bit more to do including cleaning up a bit.

Did not have much time, hope to get a bit more at it tomorrow, get a bit more done on the LoER comp as well.
