Any word if Chatax(sp?) the Eternity warden will be getting reworked? The mini is one of the best in the line but the rules fail him badly both in points(really badly, needs to be about 125 points cheaper) and in how they work.

Looks like t he LM are going very monster heavy, not surprising with the direction Fantasy is going(bigger and more epic). Hopefully it makes non-slaan lists more viable. For LM it feels right, for other armies not so much. Just hope with all these grand monster armies they remember some armies should have ranks of lowly foot troops too.

Well i'd really like to believe this. But a brand-spanking-new account with only one post does not instill confidence.

Yeah.... Now you have no cred what so ever. The goons who work at/own GW stores/stockists don't know anything more then we do.

I would be interested in the lizards if this is true.

Maybe even enough to get an army of them (as long as it is viable to field a slaan free list. I just don't want my general to be a giant frog!).

Sadly there are people out there who get all excited about the thought of tricking others into believing things, and because of that people are less likely to trust people who just pop up out of nowhere and post these kind of thread.

Welcome to Dakka and hopefully you will stay long enough for these rumours to pan out so you can scream "VINDICATED" at people.

Just for the record: This list sounds legit, copying official texts and fitting existing rumours by Hastings and Harry. Only complain would be, not to mention the original source pizzaguardian, who posted such early correct lists several times on Dakka.

Many of us thank you for the rumors. I haven't heard rumors of carnosaurs as units, but if they do, I won't be able to avoid an army of lizardmen. If there is no such unit, I will only buy a couple things for show. Like that new Carnie. He sounds wonderful... *swoons*

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

If true, I see a LOT of kits I'll be picking up for my Skink army.

I kinda hope they get Shortbows as an option again(though I doubt it since GW doesn't make models for it anymore). I'm not against hunting down 60 or so 5th ed javelin Skinks, it's just a pain to do.

Hi! You must be new here. Welcome to dakkadakka and GW! After you get your feet wet, you'll become more familiar with silly naming conventions and the humor of Warhammer and Warhammer 40k.

As recent newly returned Lizardmen and Marine player, this is going to be an awesome/crazy few months to get back into the hobby.

Can't wait to see the Carnosaur, although I would have thought a Plastic Slann would have been a priority as well.

Hopefully this means GW fixed the book so that non-Slann armies are viable...or rather in the tagline of Apocalypse, take a Carnosaur "Because Bigger is Better"

Interested to see some of the rule changes/prices as well - especially in regards to the old ones. Finecast vs. Plastic Carnosaur anyone? I mean, it should be a price drop based on other large plastic kits...
