Looked awesome, but I don't trust IGG so I guess I'm out... I've heard too many horror stories.

KS is great, delay it and post KS or I'll be forced to spend a ton more on Mars Attack!

Thanks for all the feedback.

We create the company in UK (and have bank account), but we couldn´t find a british resident to represent the company on Kickstarter. If anyone form the UK could be our representative for the campaign send me a PM.

One of you Britons get up here post haste! Chip chip!

Same thing everyone else said- postpone it so you can get it on kickstarter. I would think in the long run it will be better for everyone- more exposure, more interest, more chance to push things further.

Sounds like good news, looks like you'll have a lot of support when you launch.

Honestly, if this is an example how you respond to potential backer feedback your campaign will be well received just for that fact alone.

My Vostroyans could 100% get on board with the hind looking flyer. Would go perfectly with the exiting look.

Thanks guys but we have to thank the kind person who contacted them before me and who is giving them the support they need.

Really looking forward to seeing how this developes on ks, has huge potential especially with the alien races.

I do hope, at least, that this rep is vetted somewhat.

So there are no shenanigans.

Spelling? I don't think I've ever written "shenanigans" before....

Awesome!!! If this response to the Indigogo situation is your standard response to your customers you can only do well.

I think I will be pledging for at least some Glorlons. Nice to see some aliens that aren't completely humanoid.

Love the tripod legs on that model.

Next week will be interesting!

I've been excited for these for a while.

I think it looks good even in what I'd class as a 'good tabletop' quality

As long as you dont decide to produce the minis in that crappy resin/plastic material that PP uses im gonna pledge for a ton of Glorions!

Lol at "IndieNoGo" . Glad to hear it looks like you might have a means of launching on Kickstarter, that'd be highly preferable!

I thought people were happy with the PP resin/plastic? I say that as someone who doesn't own any and who doesn't like the steampunk aesthetic but I don't recall hearing any complaints about it other than having to use superglue.

Oh no no no, it hate it with a passion! You cant scrape it, you cant file it or sandpaper it and most of the time there are lots of small imperfections in the casts. Its he worst possible material on earth to work with in my opinion!

What i would like to see from more kickstarters is that instead of giving away a ton of free miniatures make one of the stretxhgoals a better casting material.

Ehhh, the Privateer stuff isn't *THAT* bad.

It does seem to have some obnoxious mold lines at times, and you certainly need a bit of clean up time. I haven't had any serious issues with it, but then again I'm not that great of painter/ hobbyist so maybe my views on it aren't as strong as others.

I could see how it could be a pain if you're into heavily modifying/ customizing figures.

My Khador starter was super clean. No real issues. Skorne stuff I have has been very sharp.

My trollbloods however had some serious mold lines, but if I managed to clean them up without to much hassle they can't be that bad.

I believe, and I may be wrong, that they are trying for plastic sprues for the main figures and resin casting for the characters, vehicles and specialist troopers. Their ks preview page mentions plastic 28mm figures but im sure Salvador will answer when hes next online.

I don´t know exactly what kind of material uses PP (to be honest I don´t have any plastic mini of theirs) but I can explain what we will use.
After talking with the factory we have two options: hard PVC (95 degrees) or high impact polyestirene. We will use the material that ensures the best quality and detail posible.

I've dealt with cleaning my fair share of PP restics in the time I've been doing commissions, and lemme tell you, I hate that material with the fires of a thousand suns. Maybe it's the fault of the casting/mold making crew, but there are always, always, always mold lines right over fine detail areas like cogs and faces and hands. You basically can't clean 'em off without lopping off lots of detail. Plus the stuff is really tough and hard to get off, and hard edges tend to be noticeably soft and rounded.
