Yes, that is absolutely correct Weety! I tried to do something a little different that would try and push peoples skills so they wouldn't come third!!

My skills are definately worth a top 15 so far...maybe even a 14th place (unless more people jump in at the last minute).

I'll be honest, space marine posters don't really go with my decor. A tasteful nude nerd would look lovely though. It could be a conversation piece at parties. But it's not as good as a golden toilet of course!! If I won that it would have pride of place on the mantlepiece next to the staffordshire shepherdess and the three plaster ducks.

I don't actually have a mantlepiece but I live in hope.

I judged you all. I have to say, overall I was pleased with the work. Though Ill give 1 tidbit of advice for EVERYONE that wants to join another comp again.


For the love of all things sacred, DO MORE TO YOUR BASES!!!! I nabbed so many of you guys because the bases were either really bland, or seemed like "OK I just finished painting for 12 hours, this base can do with just a drybrush"

I wish I'd shown some wip of my bases now. Lol. They don't show up too well in photos. Although, I really can't compete with those marble tiles.

1 of you really stands out as a winner for me ; the other 2nd through 5th were pretty hard to settle... And for the rest, either the build or painting wasn't up to the top tier...

Though the competition was hard for me too, all models have their great ideas & character ! Congrats to everyone in advance !

I had one that was a clear winner IMO, and a blob that were REALLY close to one another. Which equals to a good comp I think.

Sorry, I'm an awful person, still got the last 4 to go through after work. Got roped into doing a 5k yesterday. It was even worse than it sounds.
