I beat the game, and am now quite bored with it. Im going to go with the "Wonder" gameplay. You start the game, catch a full team and trade the whole thing in the random trade thing. Use all the pokemon you got for the rest of the game.

I finished the main story today. It was pretty neat.
I tried training a Dragalge, but found it underwhelming. Anyone managed to make one viable?

It's got pretty good Sp.D, passable Sp.A, and Adaptability (turns STAB into a 2* multiplier, rather than a 1.5* one) as its hidden ability. Its offensive movepool looks to be fairly decent, although not much has been confirmed on the supportive side. It'll probably make a decent UU bulky special attacker. Maybe RU.

I found its special attack lacking. That said, I'm used to Dovakiin the Azumarill.

I eagerly await for OU discussions to open on Smogon. it's always fun lurking on the forums each new gen watching them put the articles together. Not really using the simulators right now so I have no idea who will end up in what teir but it'll be interesting to see.
In breeding news Tyranitar, Tentacool, and Gible's are now complete. Gonna do some training for a bit. Get their levels up take a break from breeding XD

In competitive gameplay, I think choice scarf ditto's going to suddenly become quite a bit stronger due to mega evos: You can be certain the mega evos won't outspeed due to needing to hold the evolution item, and they're often powerful enough to sweep without needing to set up due to higher base stats.
Mine managed to get me to no.31 on the pokemon showdown temporary 6th gen ou

Considering Nintendo's attitude toward DLC, and the trading mechanics built into Pokemon, they'd probably have a very hard time getting any pokemon turned into paid DLC. Maybe things like clothing, but not gameplay altering things like pokemon or items.

Well I bit the bullet and bought X also since I felt that I rushed my Y experience through over-usage of the free Pokemon. Gonna take my time at this one and train at least 4 of my guys this time rather than just 1.

With my team now pretty much complete, I've started up rebreeding my Tyranitars again. Need to ensure maximum possible survivability.
So there might be even more Larvitars to throw into the fold.
Also, does anyone know if TTar can get Knock Off as an egg move this gen?

Usually the egg moves don't go away through generations, so I'd say you are safe.

Egg moves do disappear. This gen for example Scizor can no longer learn Superpower as an egg move.

Well I did say 'usually'. If he didn't get it before though Fafnir, I can't see why he would get it now? Is there a reason why you are speculating this?

Well, because I really want him to get it. Likitung learns it, and is in the same egg group, and it's now been buffed to be a really good move. 65 BP move that knocks away an enemy's item while also getting a 1.5* multiplier when doing so, and TTar gets STAB to boot, increasing its potential BP to 146. The damage alone is impressive, but the added effect of removing the enemy's item would absolutely cripple most survivors. Would be a very potent alternative to Crunch, with added utility, and would be a fantastic addition to my special-wall TTar.
Also, FC: 0860-4081-6465
Not sure if I have yours added or not.

As for the move, sounds good, but the only way to know if it will pass is to try I suppose.

Need more Safaris; still waiting on adds from doc and startrotter. Faf, your Safari is 66% the same as Hats' which I find hilarious given that ye are both on here. Both of ye have Fraxure and have Sliggoo as the hidden, the only difference being you have Dragonair and he has Noibat.

My team is finally complete. Took forever to get it done, but it looks some fantastic.
EDIT: Additionally, the system they have for ranked battles is ridiculously stupid. I honestly have no idea why they limited them to 3 pokemon per team. It makes it nearly impossible to have a team without an easily exploitable counter, and essentially turns ranked battles into a luck of the draw to see who can pick the team that counters the other's, rather than rewarding actual smart play and team composition.
The games aren't very interesting either, since you tend to have a good idea whether you'll win or lose once you see the specific pokemon that counters your selection, or that you have the one your opponent didn't pick a counter for themselves.
It's a real shame too, since of the handful of online matches I've done, some of them were against some pretty interesting team loadouts that would have been pretty fun to fight, had the entire match not been decided by a coin flip.

No... Smogon doesn't limit battles to three per team. Smogon's wonderful. I love Smogon. It's the official online ranked matches that have this stupid 3-per-team restriction.
