I have been painting and modeling for about 2.5 years and decided it would be time to start a P&M blog on my growing Ork army. Within I will have WIP pics from all the various projects I am working on. Here are a few I have finished in the past. Sorry if the picture quality is not up to par xP.
Things I am working on:
Stormboyz (Finished)
LoER R9 Terrain Piece (Finished)
2 Scratch Built Mega Dreads (Tabletop quality)
Ork Gargant (45% done)
Pulsa Rokkit (needs to be started)
Sorry all for the delay, work and the Terrain Comp have kept me from getting much work done on the Stormboyz. I am still struggling to get the pictures right with propa shading and what not but here is the first Stormboy 99% done. The other 4 have a few touches to finish before they are ready to be on the table. Enjoy

Your entry to the comp is fantastic, brilliant work, lot of effort and great ideas. Good luck.
Thank you, your blog has givin me many ideas and I wish I could paint to your level
Best of luck to you as well in the Comp its going to be a nail biter!
I spend a little time today putting on a rusty base coat, the images appear shinier then they truly are. Always looking for C&C.
I love those Kannons and that Quad Gun! Awesome Work!

8000pts of WAAAGH!
Indiorkalypse Koltz - Ork BB Team
Ok, so I have started work on my Gargant once again and will be posting WIP along the way. Always looking for CC, inspiration ect.
If anyone has found rules for 6th (7th?) edition Gargent please post them here. (I know there are no "official" rules but if anyone stumbled accros any that seem alright. )
With out further blabbin' about here are some WIPs!
She dont look like much yet but in time the Gargant will come to life.
Here is what I came up with:
1500-1750 pts
One Ork Gargant, Super Heavy Walker: WS3 BS2 S10 F14 S14 R12 I1 A3 HP18 +3 void shields.
Transport 20, Access point in the rear, 4 fire points on model
Ork Reactor Meltdown: Once the Ork gargant is reduced to 0HP all units within 4d6 Suffer a strDS hit!
War gear(body): 1 Belly gun (Range:72" Str7 AP3 Ordinance 1, Blast 3d6***) (***Roll 3d6 to determine the blast radius then roll scatter like normal using the arrow to scatter if the "hit" icon is shown)
1 Deff Arsenal (range 120" Str 9 Ap3 Heavy 3D6+d3 Supa-Rokkits)
War gear Arms:
Fist of Gork (Range 180'" str D ap2 Primary weapon 1, Massive Blast)
Teeth of Mork (Range 72" str 8 ap3 Primary weapon 2d6* large blast) (* if a result on 2d6 is a 2 the weapon jams and cannot be fired this turn, it is back up and running in the following turn, if the result is a 12 the gun spins our of control firing 12 shots scattering, the weapon is then destroyed)
For something of that size I think that's a tad much. Not OP just too much for a creation only a small amount bigger than a stompa. I've got a Gargant in my blog that's 23 inches high and would fit that power level better.
So my thoughts on those stats: Fair, but not fit for that model
From head to feet its 14 inches (stompa is 9) and its diameter is 12 (stompa is 6.75) it is defiantly bigger then the stompa but not to the size of yours.
What would you suggest I add/remove to make it a better fit?

Looking for C&C on the Deff Arsenal. I am unsure if I like it and looking for a second opinion. Perhaps paint will help once its base coated but I am unsure. I am thinking about keeping it like this or ripping it all out and making a checker pattern where each gun will be evenly spaced with the next one over an the next one up.
Enjoy
Spoiler:
Pardon all the business cards, I am running low on cardboard. (looks like i need to run to the liqueur store again )

Well as orks is not very up on organizin' I would say no to a patterned approach.
I like what you have here, only thoughts are, it will be a bugger to paint, and if you are trying to represent an actual weapon system, does the number of barrels match the number of shots? Not that the last one really counts, just some peole might be a bit fussy. (not me)
And to spoiler anything just use the spoiler button either side of it, I tend to always put (spoiler) on its own line either end of things, not sure it matters but it works.
Had some time today so I started work on the hydraulics system for the arms and also spent some time on the claw. Ideally I was thinking of the Gargant is within 9" of an enemy vehicle in the assault phase on a 3+ the vehicle is picked up and tossed 24" (place the large blast marker over where you want to toss the vehicle and resolve scatter. Each model under the blast suffers a wound and vehicles suffer d3 glancing hits (all saves allowed)
