7th Edition release will be coupled by the release of a new Chianid codex, the first TRULY living army in 40k.

In 7th Edition the Blood Angels will be rolled into the Marine Codex, Sisters will go missing (but still have a codex), and Space Wolves will go on a galaxy spanning crusade due to the Inquisition trying to give them a flea dip.

The 7th edition book will be a couple hundred pages of fluff and pictures.

The rules section will be a single mostly blank page that, in the middle, says "Just 4+ it."

I think you mishead, the rumor goes "there is only a Warhammer". You have to use it to beat your opponent in hand to hand combat to win!

Thats a limited edition release - you get one free if but only if you spend an extra £100 on the rules set

It comes on 36 sprues, and has to be assembled and painted using GW glues and paints to be legal for use too!

All the rule example diagrams in the book use Marbo exclusively including the ones about unit coherency.

New Bolter statline:

Range: 4d6" S: d6, ap: d6, assault d3. Roll separately for each bolter firing.

Missions:

Roll d6: on 1-3 go mission pathway 1, on 4-6 go mission pathway 2.

Mission pathway 1 is only one mission; kill points.

Mission pathway 2; roll a d6. On a 1, go back to beginning and roll for mission pathways again. On a 2, play the mission pathway 1 mission. On a 3, play kill points. On a 4, play a random mission. On a 5, play kill points. On a 6, re-roll.

The new lore governing Space Marines will include a 36 page report on why they don't poop but won't actually say if they can have sex or not.

77 - I heard it will be a 3 volume book

Vol 1 will have chapters 1, 4, 7 and 10
Vol 2 will have chapters 2, 5, 8 and 11
Vol 3 will have chapters 3, 6, 9, and 12

Each will be a limited edition, released 3 months apart.

78 - It will contain at least 10% new, perviously unseen, artwork.

87 - Every miniature's statline now includes information on their occupation, age, gender, orientation, hobbies, friends, family, marital status and preferred beverage. Now you don't have excuses to Forge(tm) a(tm) Narrative(tm).

89 - Players now have to pay points for 'supporting assets'. These aren't actually shown on the field, but instead determine how well-organized your army is. The less you have of those, the less control you have over your army.

90 - If Marneus Calgar is on the table all Ultramarines failed rolls can be re-rolled unlimited times.

New FOC has slots for cake and cake eating equipment that are not mutually exclusive. Also allows for simple cake or death minigames.

Plus we had all this in 2nd Edition - Ork kustom weapon tables and Realms of chaos mutaition tables ah those were the days

Formations will count as Allies.
A new Army Added. Equestrian Marauders will know be featured.
Preferred enemy know auto hits, auto pens and auto kills. Really just say you want that madel dead.

Assault will now be 10+log3D6. You may not round off. Ever.
