They've used the following recently AFAIK

Remy Tremblay, Rafal Zelazo, Elfried Perochon, Juan Navarro Perez, Patrick Masson, Jody Siegel, Jason Hendricks, Steve Saunders, Gael Goumon, Bobby Jackson, Jacques-Alexandre Gillois, I'm sure there's more I've missed

Speaking of which Jason Hendricks sculpted the 3 of Apocalypse minis and has updated his blog post (I believe Remy did the other 2 but that's based on a conversation he had with Robert Carlsson)

Usually, add-ons are about the same price at the OLGS, and you won't have to pay shipping if you hit their free shipping threshold.

Apocalypse mini's are GREAT, and five huge miniatures for $40 would still be a good price. I'm thinking of dropping and waiting for the Apocalypse expansion to go on sale at the OLGS. Maybe by then, I'll have finished painting my other mini's.

Ha ha. No.

The new KS exclusive Men of FAITH add-on looks pretty legit.

The one thing I'm not a fan of is that for whatever reason, be it ignorance or intent, made the very clearly Sikh team leader Hindu in the fluff.

Well let's just get all the tropes out there . Outdoing GW with a flamethrower operator who has a book rack on his flamethrower so he can read his book by candlelight while cooking up the enemy . Move over Zeal, Augustine is here.

Voodoo Doctor who in combat still doesn't wear boots is almost as bad as space marine characters with no helmets.

Yes yes, rule of cool and fantasy universe yadayada.

A FIFTH Hero team, but it's not bundled with the Acolyte sets & extra tiles? But nothing for the Hell Club, except the not-Hell Club Mayor? Uninspiring to say the least.

ETA - I'm just not feeling this game, so I cancelled my EB. Good luck!

OK - thanks!

And good bye!

I think a lot of people will buy this for the miniatures (RPGs?) and end up really liking the game.

And the miniatures too!

I pledged a dollar. Not too convinced I want The Others in its entirety, but left the door open just in case.

We can do add-ons only, right?

NO, I've never seen CMON allow add ons only. I've also seen people complain about it not being allowed in the ZBP and blood rage Kickstarter comments sections. They require you to get the minimum pledge before add ons are allowed.

As Theophany says with CMON you've got to pick up the main box before you get to add the extras,

sigh,

I've just dropped my pledge as I just don't like enough of the human sized stuff in the game,

anybody in the UK/Ireland up for letting me piggy back an apocalypse add on on their pledge?

Ive scaled my pledge back to $1, once the pledge manager is live itll jump up over $200 but for now theres no sense in giving them more than a $1.

This close to the finish and the only exciting thing we've seen that wasn't show months ago is a 40 dollar add on :(

At least they're not completely ignorant, new stretch is monster first, and all little monsters unlocked without the unlocking clearly completed 3rd sculpt business.

I'm sure they'll do something awesome for the finale, like inventing an 8th sin! Haha no, it'll be more terrible heros of course.

Well without a doubt we'll have all 7 sins included. Who knows what we'll be seeing after 1100k. Have there been any hints?

Would be interesting to see more stuff referencing the actual title of the game, y'know, "The Others." Not just the seven sins.

The Apocalypse stuff was definitely a step in the right direction. I saw an idea in the comments section that sounded kind of cool, having Seraphim/ Angels of some sort descending from the Heavens to enact God's wrath on the heathens below. Could be kind of fun. Especially if they were angels in the Diablo/ Darksiders faceless armor style.

If there are things you don't like, don't back. Pretty simple.

Pretty sure stretch goals will end around $1.2/1.3M.

People that are interested in the game still seem to be quite excited. Which is the target market, so I'm sure that fits with the overall goals.

In the PM you do have to pick a base pledge; you cannot go add ons only.

And no, there will be no minis only pledge added later.

That was where I was yesterday, when I dropped:
$ 90 EB [56 sins & 5 Hell]
+$ 40 Apoc [5 giants]]
+$ 25+ SH
=$ 155+ spend for 66 monsters = $2.50-ish per monster.

While the monsters are nice enough, I didn't feel like I wanted to spend over $150 for them. Plus, Apoc will be available later, so I'd just pay tax instead of inflated shipping.

The Others just needs 123.000$ and then we get the 7th sin. So if this your selling point, well join in

There are things that I like, for $100 I want there to be a lot more things that I like. Pretty simple orkeyeroll

If they don't want to do a minis only pledge that's their business, but they really need to be knocking every sculpt out of the park since that is where I'm seeing all my money going. Just now getting over the disappointment that this isn't a board game adaptation of the Nicole Kidman movie, my heart can't take meh sculpts and a lot of gakky hero's.

Honestly, 100 bucks for all 7 sins is not a bad deal. We will have all 7 before this ends.

Yeah, there's shipping too, but I'd be willing to bet you would not have any trouble selling off the whatever you aren't interested in with very little effort, especially if you get your game quickly and there's lots of favorable comments online.

Reading the discussion here and in the comment section, there's obviously going to be a demand for these figures.

I've been seeing a lot of active dislike for the Heroes and tiles, with a general ambivalence for Acolytes, so I doubted I'd have been able to sell those components at any sort of reasonable price. Especially if others are taking the same strategy.

Further CMoN has a lot more Late Backer and extended PM access, so that cuts off a lot of the demand there, too.

If I thought the non-monster bits would have strong resale value, I'd have considered backing for the monsters, but it's clear that the CMoN resale market won't ever have the same strength as we saw with Zombicide 1.

People should back for the game itself, with all of its components. Not for potential resale profit down the line.

Well, no.

Their target market for this Eric Lang game is board gamers. And for them, the prevailing opinion of the components, sculpts, and overall value for this Eric Lang game is very high, especially on BGG.

Anyone buying the game to discard the game and keep the miniatures isn't the primary target market. If they want to spend their money to throw the game away, that's great too. But that market, which is apparently what this thread consists primarily of, just isn't the target consumer for the game. It's the board game player.

If you don't see the Value for yourself, that's fine. But after its all said and done you're going to be getting around $125 in free Sin boxes alone.

You're welcome to piggyback on my pledge Orlando.

I'm not a fan of the humans either, but the monsters are keeping me in.

Well I wound up pledging $1. I probably won't get it, but wanted to leave the possibility open for now. As many have said (including myself) the monsters are the star of this Kickstarter and though I might never use them they will fit into my collection somewhere. Plus the Kickstarter exclusive figures are top notch (the mayor ).

Just in case you forgot what it was.

If we dont unlock the entire sin package (which I dont think will be an issue) Id be a bit miffed if we received an incomplete set of miniatures and ended up having to buy the package anyway

LOL, like CMON wouldn't give you all of it. They'll come up with a way to include whatever they want to sell to you, they always do. It's all a charade by this point, something to keep people excited and the money flowing in, and it works very well.
