If I recall correclty, it's always been the offical policy of Adepticon that you can only have food and beverage from the Hotel Vendors.

There was never an issue in Lombard, which is why I was asking. There is waaaay more alcohol when playing that could possibly be purchased from the hotel.

Where is an actual schedule for the con as a whole? I know what times my events start, but I can't find anything about open/close etc.

Edit: by the by, I'm from the area, so if anyone wants some pointers on food or what not, I can lend a hand!

10a till 6p for the vendor hall, which is when most of the demos will run.

Otherwise on the website hit the 'events rules' link and that will bring you to the event portal

It's extremely time consuming and exhausting to provide coverage (from those participating) during the event. I've got around 500 photos and that is just from the first day. Will take a good week to go through them all. I can give you some deff dread selfies though

The best I've sern is this list of the 32 championship qualifiers.
Lots of the same players on top.
Even with tons of detachments armies on top still the same. Still plenty of 1-2 source lists and a few 3 source lists without any 4-5 sources. Eldar still runs supreme. Necrons finally decided to join the party again as well.

I don't think ToF did anything wrong...

They are using a some new twitter video feed thing for coverage.

Adepticon is also using BPs so it makes it harder to track especially with so many players.

Adepticon is notorious for doing their own thang, and Adepticon can get away with it because well it is Adepticon.

I expect coverage to explode once the event is over and people can upload stuff.

Anyone have a link to results for the 40k championships?

Full results probably won't be out until Sunday night; what I can confirm for now is that Daemons finished in an exact tie for first and second, with Nick Nanavati winning on tiebreakers for the Adepticon three-peat.

I can confirm this because I'm the other Daemon player

wonder what the ork player used. 16th place is pretty high without using magical void shield generators that stretch across 3/4 of the board.

I played him in an LVO primer, and he ran Blitz Brigade with a Lukky Stikk Warboss, Mad Dokk, 45 Rokkit Boyz, 20 Ard Boys, 20 Slugga Boyz and 5 Acouting Battle Wagons

Not sure if its the same list but that's what he ran against me in an LVO Primer

Surprised by the lack of coverage. Has adepticon put out top lists in the past. Do we know if tasteytaste was in attendance?

We never published lists. There is a ton of general convention coverage on our Facebook page and other blogs. Results posted as I get them. We have over 300 events this year.

To the Adepticon Organizers:

The three guys that ran the Horus Heresy Events kicked ass. I played in the Horus Heresy: Tactical Strike and the Horus Heresy: 1850 Tournament and had an amazing time. It was the most fun I'd had at any tournament. Laid-back players, engaging mission scenarios, and excellent scenery.

Please give those guys a big pat on the back and then give them more resources to organize and run more stuff at future Adepticons.

I'm at the airport waiting on a delayed flight but had an amazing time at AdeptiCon (my third in the last four years!) debuting the ModCube. The staff were extremely supportive of the vendors, the attendees were almost all up for seeing new products, and my volunteers from the Wardens were incredible! A huge thanks to Gitsplitta, his son, Solar Lion, and Ramos Asura from Dakka for helping out!

I got to see lots of folks I'd met at past AdeptiCons (Hulk, Remedy, yakface, Janthkin, krootman, muhwe, Nicorex, Cyporiean, Polonius, Mannahnin, and the Independent Characters), and meet some new ones (the Myth guys, Todd from TableWar, Reecius, whitedragon, and Target for the first time!), including a rare kronk sighting . There are definitely more but I'm in need of sleeping for like 14 hours! This is my favorite con and it's because of the people as much as anything, so awesome seeing folks I've talked to on here and putting names to faces for those I hadn't met before

Looking forward to next year already!!

I had a great time this year. Kept my schedule light to socialize, shop and play open games here and there. The 40k Friendly looked amazing and people were having a great time...

If you go to the Adepticon website, you can find a page for 2015 Adepticon Results. The link should be towards the upper left on the main page. Some tournaments are up, but not all. It's work blocked for me, so I can't give you a link. They generally have everything up in just a few days after the tournament. Last night and today are heavy travel days for most of the organizers.
