It doesn't matter I think. Arizona had the leagues best record until 2 weeks ago. But when your offense only produces 57 yards its pretty bad.

Yeah Ravens!

Plenty of towels laying around to dry those Steeler tears! Heinz field is a ghost town. Love it!

But its not the same, the rivalry between Balt and Pitt is always extra special.

I had B-more out after the Texans loss, being in the playoffs and beating pitt is just a bonus gift from the chargers, and all I want now is one good hit on Brady. Win or lose, just make him cry for a foul on a clean hit and I'm happy.

Ravens!!!! That was amazing, it's just house money now

I can't believe the Steelers put Ben back in after that hit. He was what, 2-6 with an Int to end the game? Should've kept the backup in - he was hot, and Ben was clearly shaken - that first throw back in was an interception into like triple coverage, just no way he should've been out there.

It reminds me of the Redskins putting Griffin back in in the playoffs a few years ago. Not only is it bad for the player, it does not give your team the best chance to win - a hot backup is much better than a seriously impaired starter, even (or maybe especially) at QB.

Ugh... thanks for dragging up that memory!

This game tonight was one of those where I wish both teams could lose. I know a lot of Steelers fans and I know they're going to be bitter, which is okay... but my little brother is a Ravens fan so now I have to listen to his big mouth for at least another week.

As long as it's not a pollard jersey I'm good ;p I'll be wearing my brand new #91 Collins jersey or my Gronk jersey.

So there are no ties in the playoffs right? So Dallas or Detroit has to win a playoff game right? ;p

Probably.... Unless there are 30+ injuries on BOTH teams (as in, 30+ Dallas players, and 30+ Detroit players) and neither team can field a team the following week

For the franchise with the most playoff victories in the history of the NFL?

Dallas@GB in Icebowl 2.0.. It should be a good game. Dallas is playing with house money at this point considering what expectations were.

I'm thinking the NFC finale will be GB at Seattle, that should be a pretty good one. I think Dallas runs out of gas and luck at Lambeau and the Panthers don't have any answer for the Seahawks defense.

Notes on Cowboys packers

- Aaron Rogers only has one career playoff win at Lambeau. 1-2 career.
- Cowboys have won 5 in a row.
- Packers are 23rd against the run. Haven't played a top 10 rushing offense since October 19.
- Cowboys are 5-1 against top 10 passing offenses.
- The high in Green Bay will be 23 degrees.

Seattle's defensive statistics were majorly helped out by playing Arizona without Carson Palmer twice over the past few weeks. If the Panthers can keep the game close and not give the ball away, they have the right formula to beat Seattle. If you can run the ball against Seattle, you can win.

The Panther defense actually matches up pretty well with Seattle's strength. At the same time, Seattle can't throw the ball without having to resort to pick plays. Carolina is the clearly inferior team but they matchup well.

True enough, but in regards to Seattle-Carolina, you need to question Cam Newton and the Panther's ability to keep the ball as well. They gave it up 3 times against Arizona's relatively pedestrian defense, and they are going into something far more dangerous. Plus, the rumors have it that Cam's ankle is bothering him again, which will not keep him out of the game, but make him far less unpredictable.

Not saying it is a lock, but the Panthers have a very hard uphill battle in CenturyLink this Saturday.

Id Seahawks fans have every right to be a little nervous. The last 2 games against the panthers were a 12-9 win and a 13-9 win. The panthers most definately matchup. It's the same for patriots vs Baltimore. By all account the patriots are a better team but Baltimore just always matches up well to make the games uncomfortable.

I believe that the last time Seattle and Carolina played, it was indeed a close, low scoring game. But, I think that with it being Playoffs football, there's no way that Carolina will shut down ALL of Seattle's weapons. I will give you that it will most likely be another low scoring game, but I just think that Seattle is too complete a team for Carolina to deal with.

Agreed, and as to your second part, I think that Baltimore's overall game plan will be this:

Tom Brady can't win a game if he's not on the field. I'd expect them to slow the game down, should they get a lead.

Hopefully with how good the patriots defense has been they can win a slow close game. I definately think they're equipped this year more than just about any other in the past decade to win in the post-season.

However you listen to Suggs already in press conferences, it's pretty clear the Ravens are coming to win and it's gonna be afight. The calmness and confidence is there for sure. While it's gonna be stressful to watch the games are always action packed and I expect no difference here.

Joe Flacco still sucks and the Patriots have the best Defense they've had since 2007 when the team went 16-0.

Since when did Flacco suck?

To be fair, flacco is typically the definition of average in efficiency statistics during the regular season. But you put him in the playoffs and cool joe comes out. I'm still not sure cincy'so post isn't a joke though.
