I think I would prefer that they be like Antipodes with a just a controller. They are. Those aren't riders, it's just a bad angle. They have a harness, but there's no saddle. The Kerail controls them, I assume through the harness. In fact, one of the rules they were looking at in playtesting was the Antiopode controller rules as well as G:Sync among others.

What that just what happen when the pokemate evolves to it's next level. Next stage TAG size.

It'd be kinda cool if the Tohaa got a symbiobeast that looked like a giant beetle or bug. It could have wings and be an AD TAG. Maybe, because it's big enough, it'd create a template explosion at the point of impact on drop.
I hope you enjoyed my fantasy 100% original fan creation. Infinity doesn't have enough giant drop-beetles.

You'd be wrong.
Especially if it got the 'modern' Infinity Miniature Treatment.

Because it would be a TAG? We know those are sooo popular these days Given the way the design team at CB has revamped the rest of Combined Army minis, I have no doubt they could amaze us with a revamped giant beetle TAG. They have adapted very well indeed to the digital designing.
The idea of battlecat cavalry for the Tohaa... shudder. Glad to hear that is not the case. Next question: why only 2 of them, and not, oh, I dunno, 3? The controller counts as the third?
I suppose maybe we see Jerkilles 2.0 after Christmas... perhaps on 28 December?

It seems the Symbiobeasts will fill the niche of the big remotes like Lu Duans, Tsyklons and others.
One of them looks like it had an EVO repeater on its back though.

While possible (I have no idea what a Tohaa EVO is meant to look like) that would be a big step for them, because Tohaa currently only have defensive hacking devices. We don't really know what EVO hacking devices will do in HSN3 though.

It'll give you new gadget programs if I recall Bostria's presentation correctly and if it retains it repeater trait in might be a really good choice in every Nomad force; especially with that coordinated hacking order allowance.

IIRC EVO hacking devices will actually be hacking devices in their own right, not additional ways to use existing hacking devices. So Remotes with EVO hacking devices will essentially be full on hackers with EVO devices.

Assuming you mean bonus I would do a rundown of my version of pros/cons of this.
Old Rules
Pro - Can be hacked through by your hackers.
Con - Can be hacked through by opposing hackers.
New Rules
Pro - Can be used as your 1 hacker in your list needed to unlock remotes (so yes, it unlocks itself)
Pro - Can use it's own order to hack, or move-hack, which could be very handy even outside of LOL situations.
Pro - It's own hacking programs may offer variety in your list, eg a Defensive Hacker + Assault Hacker, as opposed to 2 Assault Hackers.
Pro - Can be hacked through by your other hackers (hopefully this remains)
Con - Can be hacked through by opposing hackers (if the above remains and if not then the Con becomes Cannot be hacked through by your other hackers.)

Unsure. All we know is they showed this. Which implies that it's going to be a full hacking device in its own right, but there's some bonuses there.

In the current Version, which I think you mean with "old", the EVO still gives you bonuses like
you can coose where a hacked enemy AD troop will land
you get a +3 to the PH roll of your AD troop whilst landing (not stackable with Gadget-1 Controlled Jump)
you can spend a Command Token to reroll a failed hacking attack
it improves the Sat-Lock attack to a WIP -3

After seening it's programs I doubt it'll keep the aforementiont bonuses but it mitght enable a coordinated hacking attack with Upgrade TeamPro.

It'll probably lose this. They've been making a lot of changes to AD as a whole.
you get a +3 to the PH roll of your AD troop whilst landing (not stackable with Gadget-1 Controlled Jump)
Yes, this is likely being replaced entirely with Gadget-1 Controlled Jum, as it's on the program list.
you can spend a Command Token to reroll a failed hacking attack
I wouldn't count this out. The list only showed the programs it has access to. I'm sure there will be a few more things to add to the list for command tokens in HSN3, and this may be among them. Would make sense.
it improves the Sat-Lock attack to a WIP -3
Seems likely this will go, but you never know.
Hacking as a whole got expanded, so I'd guess EVO devices will get a good doing over. Again, all that list shows is the programs an EVO device has access to.
