Yup, it's time to file this one away.
It is unseamly, isn't it?
I can understand the Chinese manufacturer using that line for mold making - it allows them to hide the seam line in something that looks remarkably like a seam line....

The reason I bought rules and became a real wargamer was because I wanted a properly thought out structure to govern the action instead of just making things up as I went along.

Believe it or not it saved a huge amount of money in anticipated tooling and production cost by having a (very) slight raising angle to the centre of the hull rather than a flat surface. Cheers.

Yes.
I know I wasn't inspired by him when he first debuted. I didn't bother caring until some time after Mars Attacks. Now, I want all the Blaines. It might be the Sancho effect.
I dug out the original Warpath Blaine concept art and the organic gun is there. Backers asked for a Peacekeeper armoured Blaine so this looks like the final art for Warpath Blaine whether that design carries into the new game remains to be seen (the armour can also be seen in the glass cabinet in the original teaser art). I can't recall seeing the actual miniature yet.

I have all of the Blaines so far
DBO Blaine, DZ Blaine, MA Blaine, DBX Blaine, DS Tyrant King Blaine, KoW Blaine on raptor, DZ2 Jetbike Blaine, and WP Blaine on order
That Veer Myn tunneler looks really nice. The hull doesn't seem overtly Veer Myn either, making me think it might make its way into people's games for other systems.
Wasn't there supposed to be something for the Guard that was similar? Moles, or Helbores?
Might make a nice proxy...
Curious to see how these Firefight rules turn out too...
Anyone else notice that Space Saga is officially launching on September 26th?
Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!
^ Yeah saw that too, 25 days length, I think I should be able to back this one at a reasonable level
I am very much wanting to know what progress has been made with the Firefight rules, since I'm not all that interested in the mass battle ones without 6m/10mm minis to play it with.

For what it's worth, I believe Clear Horizon is doing a 15mm mass battle bugs vs marine game on the same day.
I know I'll be checking both out.
Things seem generally positive on the Walking Dead campaign, so hopefully this will follow suit.
I have a feeling Space Saga is going to be Dungeon Saga 2.0 basically- take what worked, refine it, and make sure they actually have the ingredients players want baked in from the very beginning. It will be quite telling to see what they do with the "advanced" rules this time around.
Also wondering if characters in Space Saga will get Deadzone/ Firefight rules. Seems like a bit of a no brainer...

I just saw the gun Blaine is holding and thought "Why does he have a Gates of Antares Isorian plasma carbine?"

The purchase of 3 Tunnelers to build up an alternative Imperial Guard Armoured Fist platoon was the reason I got into this KS.
I'm just glad that the black ring on the Tunnelers doesn't appear as organic in nature as the original diagrams seemed to indicate.

Their finished WarPath models really do look good in those photographs. And yes, Squats had Hellbores back in Epic 40k - which is why I bought a set of Skaven tunnellers to go with my Squats/Forge Fathers. I bought a Beard-tank in turn for my KoW dwarfs, to use as an Iron Behemoth.

It reminds me of the Grasp of Malok from Destiny...
The Nexus Psi Expansion has also been redone for the new rules and comes with an exclusive alternative metal Dr. Simmonds miniature
This exciting expansion features two new campaigns for Deadzone. One introduces solo-play - 'Artificial Stupidity' for a series of games against the Zombie hordes. The second campaign focuses around Nexus Psi and the hunt for the origins of the Plague outbreak.
In addition, there are also two new Elite Army lists, introducing new leaders for the Plague and Enforcers - the mutated Dr. Gayle Simmonds and Enforcer Recon Pathfinder N32-16.
