I'm definitely missing the droid. I had better go through the rest of my stuff before submitting a ticket with Mantic.

Mine arrived today, near as I can tell there are no mispacks - four sheets of laser cut card tiles and tokens, right?

Not terrible, but definitely didn't feel like I got any "super value items", and no terrain.

Also, I'd tell you what I got in my Sci-Fi box, but it wasn't in the package. The Fantasy box had Lesser Obsidian Golems, multiple Abyssal sprues, a Mantic measuring tape (didn't know this was even a thing), the same Dungeon Saga Orcs and a bunch of stuff from the 2nd KoW kickstarter so it felt like a solid deal.

That looks like a pretty good deal, if I didn't have most of that stuff already.

If anyone has had a chance to have a good play of the game and write a review of how it is, would love to read it!

Seems to be all there.

Oddly got a Koris character miniature that is not mentioned anywhere that I've seen and has no stat card.

Factory mispacked that figure and everyone got one the card will come with wave 2 if not sure if that's to everyone or just those who got the expansion he was supposed to come with at this point probably better to give to everyone it's only 1 extra card. They will put a PDF of his rules out before wave 2. I find it funny the complaints in the comments that some are getting an extra figure free but those that bought the expansions aren't somehow being compensated, it's 1 figure get over it be happy for others you're not getting anything less.

Debating if it's worth contacting Mantic over.

Did you check all the bags? It looks like they give you three each of two pre sorted bags, neither of which have all the security guys or all the GCPS troops. All the rangers are in the same bag, though, IIRC.

If you still didn't get all the security sculpts, you may have a bigger mis packing issue going on.

I checked them all before confirming, yeah. I have three of the guards on their headset, six in the firing pose, and none of the female guards.
Is it worth opening a ticket with Mantic? Technically it's all there, just missing one of the three poses they should be in.

If you want the 3 female security guards absolutely open a ticket if you're not bothered about having a 3rd pose you have the pieces you need to play. Just fill out the ticket Mantic will do the rest they are generally good at sorting these things out. (But expect to wait several days for a response)

If you want those minis you pledged for, then yes it is worth it. Just keep in mind they probably won't get around to the ticket until after Christmas.

Or never, I have some dreadball things on ticket that I do not care anymore to claim, I lost all interest in that game they never replied and now I cannot remember what was missing.

I advice because the ticket system does not send a copy back (or at least it did not) keep a copy of what is missing.

They have a new ticket system now. It emails you back a copy of your query and any responses. The ticket is assigned so you can who is working it and it can't be closed without you knowing, even when it's closed you can reactivate it yourself. It's not perfect but it's a lot better than the old system.

My add-on for Scenery Booster Pack was not with it.
Were add-ons shipped separately?

Wave One contains the Core Game, along with the following Kickstarter exclusives: Blaine, The Survivor, The Fear, Hacker Halftail, Kira Nikolovski and the Koris mercenary (without a card).

Everything else including add ons is wave 2

Second question. Mine has the greenish cover without any actual text on it. I see other people have a Star Saga box with the characters on the cover and the Star Saga logo, etc.
I'm guessing those are the retail boxes, and mine is the fancy Kickstarter version?

Exactly that yes the KS version has the exclusive artwork.

I got plethoras of Mantic bases if you want 'em.

Granted, they're probably all squares, but I may have some circles too.

I can't remember if I'm excited about this one or not. Has Mantic improved their email notifications, or will I get my first shipping notice as a big box on my porch? (assuming the Xmas porch package thieves don't strike...)

I'm deffo excited about it, DB1 was excellent (until like fifty expansions buried it under the weight of it's own clarifications). DB2 is a nice redo, and the rulebook pdf is ace. A bunch of my pals are all looking forward to playing a small DB2 league when it arrives.

I *think* I'm still excited about it

Drumming up support from my buddies hasn't been easy though. I do have a bunch of painted teams waiting for play!
