Soon (tm) will be next Wednesday or Thursday, they should all go through as letter post in jiffy bags with a little foam jacket on each.
There'll be a return address on the bag, plus the info from kb. That's my mum's teacher-like efficiency for you.

Feel free to open them carefully and reuse the shipping materials to return them, unless you wanna use a box.

Yeah, you're good, Boggy Man. I received the shipment from kb_lock, and will (hopefully soon) be getting the unpainted models out to North Americans that offered to paint on the condition of receiving a model. Anyone promised an ork will get one in a few weeks and anyone offering donations of painted orks can PM me for my address - I'll add it to the lot I will eventually ship back to kb, which won't happen for some time, yet.

kb: Great job with the packaging. Pre-printed and self-adhesive labels make my life much easier and all the top labels seem like they'll separate just fine. Now I just have to find out the cheapest shipping method that won't result in completely crushed and distorted models, then physically get down to the post office.

Each bag also has a sticky label to get back to you, and i think yours has a label to get back to me.

Literally never been so organised in my life.

Ustrello (and everyone else), go absolutely nuts with whatever customization you want. Ork the hell out of them, or leave them stock, whatever you want to do

Crikey, you really are organised. I may genuinely need to call on your help for something later in the year...

I haven't seen the orks yet, they're at my parents' house right now. I'll be over in time to get them out, but haven't been yet.

Just curious, can grots join in?

Managed to make a start on my contribution this afternoon.

A little quick and messy but much fun. First Ork I've painted in a long number of years.

Hopefully get a chance to do the rest before too long.

That's looking fantastic! I think my own Ork will be quite humble in the company of these guys! I've said it before, but it's going to be awesome to see this come together!

Looking great, I think I've seen that guy hanging out in the car park of my local pub.

So apparently i can't read. I thought i had a spare ork boy needing a painter in the US.

turns out there is a bit of a kerfuffle instead there will be at least one extra model needing painting, not sure if it is uk us or both yet though - BC you may want to check your stash as that means I've probably short changed you a nob.

alanmckenzie that looks absolutely brilliant

Not where I should be

@BC, if you want, happy to send you one tomorrow.

@kb, so want to send mine off, but should I send it to BC for Brit pic, it's a bit big to fit in a jiffy bag, would prefer to send in a small box, happy to send direct.

@ Alan, that is awesome bud, beautiful work.

So, it's true, I've stuffed up the shipping and we now have an extra Ork Nob in the US that needs painting, AND an e extra Ork Boy in the UK needing a home.

If you missed out initially, get in now

Cam, I don't mind mate, i figure bc will probably need to box them all up to get them back to me anyway. If you're going to ship bc a nob to cover my stuff up, may as well put them in the same box.

Let be know when it gets there or we'll work out a way to replace it.

Januine: Congrats on the wedding, which I assume preceded the honeymoon.

Nevelon: PM me your address and you're in. Being in the same state, shipping should be cheap enough that I'll gladly offer up one of my own orks, if you don't already have a model to add to the lot. AoBR boy, regular boy, ork torso and a few gubbins... just let me know what you'd need/prefer, and I'll get you set up. Probably not in a hurry, mind you, but it'll be done right, by the end of it!

PM sent.

The only orks I have in the house date back to RT, so would look massively out of place against modern ones. So I’m going to need one imported. I missed out on AoBR myself, it was at a time where I wasn’t buying much 40k.

Works for me. I'll add your address to the list, Nevelon, and send you a nob when the lot goes out (which still hasn't happened).

I reckon the range of stuff people will be sending out will be pretty diverse, it might be quite hard to find an ork that would be massively out of place. I personally intend to send a couple of pieces of 40k Ork Heritage along with my own contribution. And I wouldn't be surprised if I'm not the only one. Chances are there'll be considerably more greenskins flowing back to Australi-Waaagh!!! than were sent out.

Yeah lots of good hearted folks are sending in some awesome stuff, will be really interesting to see the whole lot. Just the concept of it is making me want to actually continue building a full Ork army, I've already started eyeing off a Trukk...

This little guide was included in each package, though some of you will not receive it, as I ran out, or you are donating models or whatever - here it is:

Hello fellow dakkanaught! Here is your Ork for OUR Ork Klan – the Dakka Dakka Klan.
Instructions are simple;
1. This is your army as much as mine, if you do your best, and what you think is right, it will be.
2. Green skin preferred, dark/gritty/dirty as well – again, use your judgement.
3. PLEASE DON’T BASE THEM! You can glue them to the base and prime it if you like, but I will do something to make them all match and bring them together.
4. I have included a return shipping label to get it back to either me or the US/UK folks helping me with distribution. Cheapest shipping is preferred, but PLEASE pack it well so your work isn’t ruined.
5. I will pay for your shipping! Send me a PM with the amount you’re owed and your paypal address and I will transfer it. I know paypal is horrible, I can only apologise.
6. There is no real pressure with this. Ideally I’d like you to finish and return it in two months, but this is a model you are painting for free, I am sure there are more important things in a lot of your lives – I understand.
7. If you want to pull out without finishing the model, I also understand. Please return it and I will reimburse your shipping.
