Subject: Your opinion on the most pressing question of our times.....
I’ve seen a load of GI Joe but had no idea who Cold Slither was, so they must have been really forgettable.
The back of the original Robotech series was awesome in many ways, but with these long stretches on Minmay nonsense that is sometimes like an endurance test to sit through. So she has to get ranked lower than Cold Slither, I’ve forgotten who they were so it can’t be as bad as fething Minmay.
I get the Jem themesong stuck in my head probably about once a week. And not even in a bad way. So she’d have to be the clear winner.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”
Adam Smith, who must have been some kind of leftie or something.

Because I'm not sure if I do. I think it might have been a fever dream.
Anyway, I don't remember the 80's at all, so I vote for David the Gnome.
Josie was actually a great movie, with a lot of cutting barbs at the music industry. Plus some catchy tunes, cute girls, and funny bits. Well worth the time to watch.
The Josie and the Pussycats movie was quite amusing. The actress who played Josie was my absolute fav for a while. Meow.

Dujour means friendship. Plus, they had Letters to Cleo do some of the music. Always a plus.

Okay, since you spelled it "Minmay", then I'm going to put her at the top of the list, above Jem and the Holograms.
Had you spelled it "Minmei", I would've put her below Jem, and just barely above Cold Slither. Barely.

The difference between the two is that "Minmay" is the way the Japanese spelled the character's name in Super Dimension Fortress Macross. In Macross, Minmay's voice actress was a very good singer (I've seen her perform live). "Minmei" was the way the character's name was spelled in Robotech. In Robotech, Minmei's voice actress was a decent actress, but not the best singer. At all. Her rendition of "We Will Win" is good, but the rest of her performances are kinda lackluster.

It really is way better than it has any right to be. Somewhere along the lines of a less insane Zoolander.
