Why do you guys have to be so rude just because people disagree?

The thing I hate most about ymdc is the posts that have a condescending tone like "my interpretation is RAW everyone else is just dumb and saying how they would play it!"

If it took more than half a page of posts, it's clearly debatable. Discuss it with your opponent.

Your post is both reasonable and well thought out.

Please mark it HIWPI, your concession on the matter is noted

But in seriousness, your post is both reasonable and well thought out. Any topic in YMDC which exists for more than two pages is probably not going to have a RAW answer, and will end up in people stating RAW, or parts of RAW, to support them piecing together the rule into something playable or they want to play it as.

Pretty sure most of the people arguing don't actually play anymore.

Those who can do. Those who can't spend countless hours rules lawyering on message boards. Isn't that the old saying?

Indeed. Which is why we generally lock them after 5 or so pages these days, rather than having the discussion spiral on endlessly.

This one got away a little, on account of me having to work a little harder to be at all interested in 40K right now... but I think it's about time to put it to bed.

SO... moving on.
