The Mk 12's new rangebands seem to be aweful!

Nothing lately no, but they're gonna be part of the Varuna sectorial. I remember Helots were one species, and another was mentioned too I believe.

Kanren looks like a cheaper, more useful Pheasant for ISS. Advanced deployment and Holoprojector L2?

This has been planned for awhile. The "importance" of it is debatable though, since they talked initially about how it would be set on an isolated island planetside away from the main fluffed out warzones.

It is as important as it needs to be, not more not less.

A campaign does not need to be fluff shattering as the many various failed attempts GW has done in the past, it only needs to be important in the campaign.

I feel referenced in the fluff and /or a special character or two been inspired by the campaign is important enouph.

See, the rub is that CB/BOW have been hyping it as "fluff shattering".

And really? "It only needs to be important in the campaign"? The whole reason I made the statement I did is to let people know that this is not you getting to affect the outcome of the Paradiso conflicts.

CB literally just looked at their maps of Paradiso, found out "Hey we have an island that nothing important has happened on!" and decided that's where the campaign is going to take place. They're shoving everyone onto a self-contained area.

This whole campaign? It's not really meant to be a CB campaign. This is BoW doing a proof of concept for their campaign system.

Yeah, because Infinity is so well known for their dearth of special characters.

Carlos seems to make a visit once or twice a year to BoW and always records a few sessions with them. What we got was a 20 minute segment in a Weekender show.

No way in hell did he get on a plane from Spain to N. Ireland just for a chit-chat and coffee. I wouldn't even put the airport address into my car's satnav for that, let alone drive there, risk going crazy dealing with morons in the airport and have to sit in a fart infested tin can for a couple of hours!

It feels as a joined testing project. CB learned a few things on Campaign: Paradiso, I'd be very surprised, if no input from their side was given. BoW have their own ideas and reasons to make it happen. Players test and play something new. Seems everyone can benefit from this project.

Anyway, it's hard to make a decent reason of why everyone in the Human Sphere is suddenly so interested in that little piece of island. Especially with a concept of a floating/submerged cities not being a futuristic idea in Infinity setting.

In the BoW video they try to sell the strategic importance of the island in terms of it being a good staging area to attack...almost everywhere else.

But it still seems a bit of a stretch given the tech level of all involved.

O-12 gets a nice shout out in it though!

Those are actual pages from HS. I'm guessing that it is ready for the printers, or even at the printers... Available at Adepticon, seems like this will be true. (Adepticon, The Con with the unfortunate logo-- a skull? sad, just very, very sad, guys. If it is going to expand beyond the GW stuff, it need to update its logo to be less brand specific.)

That's speculation. The HOPE is that it will be available at Adepticon for preorders/limited availability.

I think it would have gone over better as the manifestation of a political/propaganda effort.
Obviously it would hold some strategic advantage but even Carlos (?) didn't sound super convinced about that part.

He was there for an entire week. And one of he backstage videos shows him in the middle of filming a battle of some kind. So no, we haven't seen what they filmed.

Completely unsupported supposition on your part. There's no way Bostria travelled to Northern Ireland (which is a bleeping pain from Vigo) for a week, in the run up to Human Sphere, just to film a short segment.

Bostria went to BOW to film the Human Sphere promo week and the Flamestrike event.

Human Sphere will be at Adepticon. March is the month for the Pre-Order.
It's going to happen at any point.

I guess that Human Sphere wont be Tournament legal at adepticon because nobody would still have access to the stuff yet.
