Very cool - I always liked the Deimos Rhinos although I'm sad that you cannot customize it to your own legion, similar to normal Rhinos.

Thanks as always for the kind words gents. Small update tonight, I finished the Javelin crew. I'm gonna make a custom base for this guy once I figure out what style I want.

Nicely done! that is some very crisp work there especially the Land speeder it looks fantastic! may I ask if you use grey and white to highlight your blues? it just appears that way and I kinda like it!

I chalk it up to them Being 30K ultrasmurfs, so totally okay to like them, especially after the beating they take at Calth, which makes it understandable why they are dorks in 40K.

Thraxas, you were asking about the quality of the molds? They were perfect. Had to trim a little flash but all the pieces fit together with no problems.

Nerdfest, the highlight is Etherium Blue. Dry color from GW. I think it's discontinued but you can find it on eBay.

Speaking of eBay, I enjoy doing at least one eBay rescue in each of my armies. I didn't think I would have an opportunity with a 30k army, but then I found that pile of resin you see in the first picture. It's 5 MK 4 assault marines. I think. In the meantime, the second Heavy Support Squad is all done....

So here is the rescued squad. Just threw on a couple BaC bits and I was in business. The resin was a little damaged so they Ultramine dark gray certainly helps.

Looking good! Do Ultramarines have grey-armoured Destroyers or is that just a WIP before the blue? They do look really cool in grey, and it fits the fluff; Ultramarines probably wouldn't be proud to use such units, but equally, are pragmatic enough to recognise their tactical value, unlike the Legions that eschew them completely.

Paradigm, yes the Ultramarines use gray armor for the Destroyers. I believe they collected all of them into a single death star type chapter. In fact, I think I remember reading something about that chapter kicking some Word Bearer butt on Calth.

And iirc the Destroyers chapter was seen as out casts as they were considered dishonorable, but still recognized for their effectiveness, and were mustering at Calth.

And then they went on to raise unholy hell. Turns out demon flesh and spacemarines done respond well to rad munitions

So, Destroyers are finished and I think the color scheme looks great. Also the first 5 seekers, a Rhino, and a Storm Eagle! I am so motivated to paint that thing. I am especially looking forward to using some of my transfers from the Legion sheet.

Destroyers look awesome! I look forward to the completed storm eagle, I've heard a lot of horror story's about putting one together.

Well, so far I can confirm this model is a bit of a beating. I guess it's because of so many flat pieces. They bend easily. Kind of a surprise because tanks have been a breeze. Even the speeder and bikes all fit perfectly.

Those destroyers look fantastic . I always tried to do a grey marine force, but never saw a color that looked good as an accent, I think I'll be stealing your style there in the future.

I adore the storm eagle design but am very reticent to buy one as they do seem like a PITA to build. Glad to hear of your good experiences with the tanks/speeders as I plan to add some heavy support to my Alpha Legion.

Interesting to learn about the grey destroyers too, they look awesome.
