This Bard was previously shown pictured in a rulebook (Desolotion of Smaug I guess), but never released at the time. It might well be that all three were intended for release then, and are the same models and paintjobs from the time rather than the FW painting studio.

Has anyone on here had any experience with the Death of Gothmog diorama? Looks cool but some of the details are a bit soft looking, is this just the paint scheme or the actual models?

Tauriel and Legolas have never been seen as far as I know.

Some new stuff from NOVA. Rohan scenery kit (possibly a full line from the wording) and a plastic Grima/Saruman kit

Wow they are some of the best character models yet, the painter did a great job on the robes.

Scenery looks great as well, hopefully this means we have some updated Uruks on the horizon...

That scenery is fantastic. I wonder if it will be plastic and completely modular like lake-town or if it will be more like the 'upgrade parts' like the shire, since they're both mentioned in the announcement.

One of them filthy casuals...

It is plastic and modular.

Yeah. The scenery is good. Might buy some for general purposes and clip the horse heads/sand down the arches.

I am in on all of this, amazing. The re-imagining of Saruman and Gríma is excellent, painted to a ridiculous standard too - I love the robes!

I look forward to seeing the other Rohirrim and Isengard characters redesigned. They're all getting a facelift over the next few months, hopefully Eomer is next.

Grima does indeed look great - probably the first plastic character since Théoden that I would consider an improvement over existing sculpts (the recent Gimi was also good though). Hoping for some new troops at long last though - Isengard has plenty, but Rohan has limited variety, and Dunland could really use some love.

Both look awesome and Saruman and Grima will be instant pick ups. Will have to sit on my hands concerning the houses due to space issues. But anyway, anyone interested in some the easiest ever to paint miniatures?

It's possible that the horse heads aren't directly attached. Ray Dranfield designed these and said it's the same sprue, repeated.

I asked on the FW facebook page earlier and they basically gave a non answer unfortunately. We'll have to wait and see.

I'm so hyped about the scenery. Hopefully they will also do 3 house multi packs like they already do with Lake Town. Would grab like 3 of those sets instantly

Unfortunately the only MTO item is the Defenders of Laketown pack. Hopefully the other two packs appear at some stage in the future.

It's a limited 'clear Ringbearers' pack; Elendil, Gollum, Bilbo, Frodo and Sam. Not sure when they're available or to what capacity.

Is it Elendil or Isildur? Isildur wore the ring, didnt he?

Sam never wore it, did he?

In the book, yes. In the movie, no.

Since these are movie based minis, I doubt Sam will be among them. Besides, that far left one doesn't look like any Sam miniature i've seen. I'm not sure who the bottom left is, but the others are Isildur, Gollum, Bilbo and Frodo.

Krieg! What a hole...

He does in the movie and hands back to Frodo right after stabbing an orc in the back.

Apparently the pack is Isildur, Gollum, Young Bilbo, old Bilbo and Frodo. Sam doesn’t have the option to take the ring in the game.

Suckling on wine last night. Doh, I meant Isildur!
Not sure on the mystery figure, I assumed it to be Sam given the image I was sent last night by a friend at NOVA, but a young Bilbo makes more sense. Especially since there’s a new ‘Young Bilbo’ model coming out too.

Bottom left is the (young) Bilbo sculpt that's included with Smaug.

Top left Isildur, top right Gollum (crawling over a rock, the Two Towers/Emyn Muil pose - guess the one time you will have to paint part of the clear resin, unless you want the rock to be translucent too!). Bottom left the aforementioned Bilbo, bottom centre old Bilbo (in coat, holding book, technically holding the ring in his open right hand), bottom right is Frodo (I think from the old Weathertop set - a good choice, as I'm fairly certain that one doesn't have the Ring visible around his neck).

Hmm I know the scene you are referring to, but I disagree that he put it on. He climbs up a ladder which leads to a trap door in the middle of the chamber, and then stabs the orc. But at no point do we actually see him put on or take off the ring.
