Maybe.
Course there's different levels of immortality too.
By the time of the Beast Arises his mind was totally gone.
Didn't know the year, people's names, where he was etc etc.
The ending seemed very final too.

Maybe they will say it was 1000 years in the warp but only a few years (or centuries depending when he was banished) in real time. So for him it was a 1000 years of what ever he was in and he had a 1000 years of planning for vengeance/revenge but for us it was a few years/centuries when he was banished. If I remember correctly, Angron was banished in the First War for Armageddon, which took place 500 years before the Second War for Armageddon, which took place 50 years before the Third War for Armageddon, which is taking place in the present (as it were). So Angron should have a good 450 years left in his banishment. Of course, maybe Ghazkull Thraka is secretly being guided by Angron, and his whole obsession with Armageddon is linked to creating enough bloodshed that the Daemon Primarch can break his banishment. Thank you for the explanation. Also worth noting Sad Panda said there'd be a primarch on Team Empire, not necessarily a loyalist primarch. maybe one of the Chaos Primarchs sees the light, or maybe they just want to twart Magnus' plans. That sounds like he is dead to me. For the Chaos Primarch coming back could that be Alpharius (Omgeanon if Alpharius is really dead) (spelling?). Also just curious, what Primarchs did Forge World do not do yet? Maybe one of them will be coming back. Did FW do a Magnus the Red mini? Yeah, I admit I'm one of those guys I have been expecting something grand to come out from that development, the rise of the Starchild, ever since I saw that piece of fluff. I really want the status quo to change.
Other tiny pieces of lore that made go bananas, was one novel about Eldar: For the first time since ever, the Harlequins changed the play that tells the tale of birth of Slaanesh, the one they need a Solitaire for: The God of the Dead shows up. That cursed tiny bit of lore is another that I'm starving for more development, the birth of the Eldar God of the Dead.

Those are just the bones of his hand. Not his entire skeleton. His body was not found. So as far as we know he is still hiding, captured or wandering around and going by the name "Stumpy" now.
I'm a bit conflicted on Magnus's look. I think a bit of a different paintjob might make it look better.

No, me learned friend is quite collect.
Back when space marine was 1st released they had his whole body encased in amber.
Later on the Index Astartes articles seemed confirm his death, and then they only seemed to recover his hands.
However since the publication of the HH series the Index Astartes articles are no longer strict canon -- insomuchas anything is strict with regards to GW blah blah etc etc -- but that series has, allbeit obliquely , hinted towards his death with things like Kurze's vision and the like.
Vulkan was the last of the primarchs -- thus far anyway -- to finally disappear and that was in the Beast Arises series.

You have to admit it is silly as hell though. The mini looks identical to the guy on Bjorns old banner ie himself fighting a Wyrm. It's definitely a not-Bjorn whatever the excuse it. Either way I am glad to have the mini, I'll simply consider him Bjorn.
I guess it's also silly and funny to my because I can't help but think about the movie Beerfest:

Just a thought. Could Geigor be Bjorn's last name? Maybe a way to keep from calling two different miniatures by the same name?

But you'd still run into the timeline problems. Bjorn didn't lose the hand until the battle of Prospero, so shouldn't have the lightning claw or the nickname yet.

Marneus Calgar Cato Sicarius etc. Doesn't seem to be the case, unless many of them have double-barrelled given names.

Sorry to quote this from the very first page, but I can't seem to find any additional info beyond this mention about plastic sisters. If I've missed it can someone point me in the right direction, or is that literally all the news ("it's coming at last!")?
Edit: is the reference only to the Sisters of Silence from Prospero Burns? If so my enthusiasm is... tempered.

Well, that picture above clearly states that Sisters of Silence and Custodes will have rules for 40k. That makes me happy. I'm unsure if I will use the actual models or converted Sigmarines.

Magnus and plastic Rubrics (in power amour) are confirmed by the video. Sad Panda has also posted a cryptic hint about Rubric Terminators. It sounded like we will get some in plastic - he had teased familiars to be in Silver Tower in a similiar way for example.

As far as 40k goes, I just want something official to show that only Ahriman's sect chose Blue and Gold and the rest of the Thousand Sons are still red. I know it's in the novels, but that's not canon.
With HH, the Thousand Sons were mostly a Mk3 army right? Mk4 didn't come out until the HH was in full swing after Prospero was destroyed?

Their armor was always described as heavily artificier, no mk was particularly mentioned.
Ironically, in the design notes for the various armor MK's, Jes said he always imagined that the thousand sons would be heavily mkIV -

Which makes me pretty content with their upgrade bits being Mk IV, and the vast majority of my in-process TS army Mk IV. I prefer Mk IV's aesthetics over the others, too.

Sad Panda is never wrong, so thousand son terminators are definitely coming. I am more curious if they will go straight from 30k to 40k thousand sons or if there will be and Aos filled pause in the middle. There are four weeks between prospero and the rumoured bloodbowl preorder, which is plenty of time for a major release.
