Probably the official presale is so close that there is no point now.
Also, GW does intentional "leaks" nowdays as its marketing strategy, this could be one of them.
Though...
No codex?
Huh.
Either this is a tac-on to codex CSM and codex daemons, and then it build up its own set of rules in Wrath to build the 1ksons army, or this is ont the end of this release.

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if presales start this Monday, and will be surprised if they don't start by next Monday.
I mean, the only thing that will keep sales a bit down for this awesome relese, is the fact BoP just came out and knowing that 1ksons book comes soon, many of us bought it specifically for making "classic" 1ksons.

Presales are always Saturday. Next Saturday is the presales.
I'm really impressed with these models. Ahriman looks awesome, like Kharn he has a lot of the same details as the previous model, just brought up to date (and I think done better than Kharn was, and I actually like Kharn). The rubrics are fanstastic, and I love that the leg poses aren't squatting. I'm really glad GW have moved away from that lately. I like the exalted sorcerers, and although the Scarab Occult seem a bit static, they're lovely models. Bit odd about the monopose Tzaangors, I assume there'll be a separate AoS box for them when AoS Tzeentch gets done.
Awesome that you have the option to build the horned sorcerer from the video, I know someone had posted that they hoped for it!

The enemies of Mankind may employ dark sciences or alien weapons beyond Humanity's ken, but such deviance comes to naught in the face of honest human intolerance back by a sufficient number of guns.
Just to be clear tho - there isn't a board game box or warzone type box for Thousand Sons, it's straight to individual multi part kits? That's a bit of a bummer, cost-wise.
The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.
Between both pictures of the sorcerers we can tell for sure we've got:
3 sets of bodys with 5 or more torso variants you can mix and match (seems like the cloth is a separate piece placed on top of the chestpiece!)
3 backpacks (more if they accidentally used all identical ones)
6 or more heads.
6 or more staffs and hand sets ("Come at me bro", "stargate gunstaff", "benchpress", "all these hands", "match forward" and "check me out" stances.)
Can't say much of shoulder plates, hard to see from the given angle. but looks lie there are 3 "simple" pairs, and a few extras that are fancy.
Overall, it seems to be far more interesting than the "three clamp packs in one" I originally thought it would be now that I see the second picture.
Might actually get a box. not sure they will mix well with BoP marines though. and I'm not a fan on the chicken legs the flying pose got. (it could have been an awesome pose otherwise.)
Yea, no. it got cool features, but too many mandatory parts that ruin it for me (chicken legs, the skull in the marching one's knee and the backpacks) hopefully someone else around will get it, and I can get his spare staffs .

The only cost I am worried about is points.
If the Rubrics are priced the same as they are in the Codex, the unit in the picture would be over 400 points.
This is so awesome, looks like I'm going to be broke next month. Might aswell just listen to some music.
Its hard to be awesome, when your playing with little plastic men. Welcome to Fantasy 40k
If you think your important, in the great scheme of things. Do the water test.
Put your hands in a bucket of warm water,
then pull them out fast. The size of the hole shows how important you are.
I think we should roll some dice, to see if we should roll some dice, To decide if all this dice rolling is good for the game.

Is it just me, or do the new kits look rather teal? I'm used to seeing them in a darker shade of blue than that. I would love to see someone paint these up in the pre-heresy red.

Yes, they aRE very teal.
And I for one am glad for it. being smurf-colored was a downside.
Gha. torn between new 1ksons paint scheme and pre-heresy scheme now...

Fantastic, just fan tastic! The customization on the sorcerers looks amazing. Pity the bird men appear to be mono pose but they are still sweet. Those are chain-khopesh's, a damned chain-khopesh son.
Funny thing is I only need a small set of Rubrics as leaders for the renegade force but I guess I'll just have to get them all for a standalone army, just to be safe.
Best thing about this though, it means the canoness thing was true...... What a time to be alive. Im still struggling to accept Tzeentch is getting a new plastic release, the quality on those rubrics, I need water.
Edit: Also that beak helmet on the sorceror is my favourite, reminds me of a plague doctor mask.
