Honestly crying right now... Big fan of Hugh Jackman's portrayal of Wolverine (despite being way taller than I would have liked ... but hey it still has the 'wolvie' feel to me)... For me he was the best thing about the X-Men movies (when he was in them)... I was skeptical when the first teaser images showed up but so far both trailers do not disappoint.

Indeed, this is really looking like the Wolverine movies always should have looked.
Origins was great! Granted, if it had been any longer than ten minutes it would have become very stale, as all one man shows do, even if that one man is Liev Shreiber. Not sure why they named it Wolverine instead of Sabretooth Origins, though.
But a Wolverine movie with Hugh Jackman? Might work.

It feels like you're having a different conversation now.
He's right. Shreiber was the best part of W: Origins. And it set up some good gags for the Deadpool movie. And had an awesome video game. Beyond that? Trash...
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I think that was the frustrating thing about Origins: It had some cool stuff in it, it was just a badly cobbled-together mess that jumped the shark at the end.
And the bad CGI claws in scenes that didn't even need CGI claws were just painful.

The Wolverine was fine up until the final act. Certainly miles better than Origins was...
I was talking about the one in Japan. Didn't care for it. I liked the one where he jumped a helicopter with a bike and fought mute deadpool on three mile island with lame New Orleans gambler and had a brother.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
"the play's the thing wherein I'll catch the conscience of the king,
I wonder if parts are Charles in real life and later Charles in Logan's head. It might even be that Logan has to put Charles down for his own sake. That'd be dark but so perfect for the tone the trailers have set.
-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG
-"Don't mind Frazzled. He's just Dakka's crazy old dude locked in the attic. He's harmless. Mostly."

Yeah far far better . Its not a xmen movie a.think of it more along the lines of unforgiven or the rover . Brilliant acting and a great swansong for the cast
Agreed. So much better than the previous Wolverine movies. Also I had completely missed that this had gone for the R rating and holy crap was it violent. You reeeeeaaaaaaallllly get to see why you shouldn't messed with someone with claws like that.
