Does anyone know if the Canoness will be produced in "proper" resin or that dirty, cheap Finecast abomination?

Metal would be fine, but I'm sure I heard that it was going to be in resin?

Anything but Finecast, please god!

The picture states "resin", but not "finecast". Hm. Maybe I'll swing by the GW store to take a look.

They stopped advertising their resin as Finecast a while ago. Pretty sure it's the same stuff though.

Didn't GW stop using the 'Finecast' name a while back, even with miniatures that were originally produced in the material?

I'm pretty sure GW just abandoned the 'finecast' branding. They refer to Abbadon and their other formerly metal models as 'resin' now.

Ultimately, whatever it's named, if you don't believe GW has fixed their resin process then you should be wary of this miniature.

Even if it's Finecast, newer GW resin is miles ahead of early stuff. Mostly flawless casts.

I've recently built a pair of Necron Characters in resin... just a few bubbles in otherwise unnoticeable places. They were easy to fix.

Been saying it for years. You could have two or even three groups in a set with variant weapons and themes. Puritan and radical could be used in Imperial armies, radicals could also be used with Chaos. Maybe a set of mutants (that could also be used in LATD and a piece of scenery or two qwith 6 or so missions and a good range of hobby stuff, ideas, conversions and fluff could make it a huge seller, especially if the kits allowed 'Eisenhorn famous' characters to be built

I'm not going to re-read the lunacy that is the last few pages of this thread, but I'd be very surprised if anyone actually said that. Even that one guy banging on about how relatively difficult it might be for an Inquisitor to acquire power armour, I don't think even that guy said that.

It's not a thread about an imperial release without 20 pages of gak posting from Sisters players.

And your contribution by this post to the thread is - apart from just whining? You do realsie this is a thread about the new Imperial Agents Codex which includes Sisters and the flagship model is - oh year a Sister of Battle. Pardon everyone for discussing the topic rather than just the lastest version of a slightly differnt coloured Marine.

Anyway back to the actual thread topic.

Some of the OOP models look very tempting as missing a couple of them. The Formations will be important - espeically for all those who have thus far been ignored.

Not to mention, until the leaks start to hit Firday night/Saturday morning, there was nothing else to discuss until these M2O minis were posted. For someone who just got into the game less than 10 years ago, I love the idea of M2O and I think I'm getting a couple of these.

Good news for those who want one then. Might this be a change of direction with there "special" release models? While I'm not bothered about this one I would have liked to have gotten the HH Preator model.

I have him. A lovely mini to paint as isn't cluttered with loads of detail.
This points to him being playable with maybe the return of deathcult assassins too?

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Also note the detail on the back of his hand - GW have used this on both the Eversor & most of the Eldar range. Just a little factoid that some may find interesting (or maybe not)

Well, looks like I will be getting this Canoness after all. If nothing than to have her.

I just hope she doesn't preclude GW from making a plastic Canoness.

Death Cult Assassins have been playable since they were introduced. They're part of Inquisitorial Henchmen Warbands and Ecclasiarchy Battle Conclaves. I strongly suspect they'll therefore be in Codex: Imperial Agents.

And as you point out, he shares features with the later Eversor models - they were probably modelled on him originally. So use him as that.
