Is there a summary of Hastings and Sad Panda's rumours anywhere in this thread?
"We are the Red Sorcerers of Prospero, damned in the eyes of our fellows, and this is to be how our story ends, in betrayal and bloodshed. No...you may find it nobler to suffer your fate, but I will take arms against it."

It seems incredibly unlikely he would get custodes (which appear in the very book GS3) and Gullimarines mixed up.
Sounds like wishful thinking to me to deny your new gullimarine overlords.
But don't all the ultraultramarine details come from some rando on 4chan rather than Hastings

I thought Guilliman's blood was tainted with poison? Hence the whole life support system on his new armor. How are they going to get around this - some new form of dialysis? If that's the case, why not do the same to Roboute himself?
This is stupid. I don't buy it.

Probably since this has been in the works for about 10k years they probably used RG blood from before stasis, but who knows...

This is what hastings has said directly on the matter. The source is the comment section on war for sigmar where hastings is dropping this info. So he has said stuff on the matter. He says the new marines will be better in every way than normal marines. Like sigmarines to Empire soldiers in AoS. The 4chan poster is the one to describe the model though.

I'm not sure it should be alarm bells for "super marines" just yet. The larger scale might be just reflective of the larger scale already seen with the Death Watch and Rubic Marines. The scale shift is already in progress. Rather than just having it happen with new releases, they give a fluff justification.

Your glossing over everything hastings said.Hastings has an 80% correct rate on the tracker. Ah well not much else to say now it's all been said. Just waiting for adepticon now. MEA releases that same week. I hope it's good or there's two things to get butthurt about kek.

From the summary of GS3 one wrote on Bolter and Chainsword:
Spoiler:
Yvraine speaks up, explaining that the power she wields as the Emissary of Ynnead will be key to restoring Guilliman. But such power is not wielded without sacrifice – for Guilliman to live again, he must first die.
...she notices Cawl, Tigurius and the Ynnari standing next to Guilliman’s stasis-pod....
Calgar notices the commotion too, and watches in horror as Yvraine raises her sword above Guilliman. He shouts a command to Tigurius, ordering him to stop the xenos witch, but Tigurius shakes his head in response as Yvraine cuts through the power cables sustaining the stasis field. The auto-reliquary that Cawl had been transporting then unfurls, and engulfs Guilliman.
...when the lights on the auto-reliquary blink from red to green. With a hiss, the arms of the auto-reliquary fold back and stepping out with a breathtaking splendour strides Roboute Guilliman.
It sounds to me as if the poison is gone with his first death.
At the end he wrote: New Armies would be raised, in numbers not seen since the days of the Great Crusade. From Cawl’s forges on Mars would come new and terrible weapons whose fury the worshippers of Chaos would be unable to stand.
No word about advanced Space Marines

Your last point is especially laughable and comical, because not only the 7th ed Valkyrie shown dumber things (like being able to throw the troopers without parachutes out of its hatches, no harm done) - Irbis

A Chaos Daemon SC that has existed as is for quite a while so isn't actually new or modified beyond simply getting a bigger, easier to target model. You know, unlike Celestine's new kit, or Cawl, or Greyfax, or the Ynnari lot, or Roboute.....
And a 750 point 1 Legion only LoW that's a FMC and becomes useless if a 140 point Culexus assassin stands near it. P.S. Sisters of Silence do the same thing to it as well.
No, methinks they do not really compare.
As it stands the new Imperial and Eldar SCs will pretty much dumpster the Chaos SCs by default.
It's really, really sad how GW try to set up these fluff battles without realising that trying to re-enact them would be a farce.
Now only a CSM player.

Its easy for me to think that (and indeed I hope that) internally custodes are thought of a super space marine variant. If thatz the case Hastings would still very much be correct.

80% isn't 100%

No I understand that point. I'm just saying these are likely just at the scale already releases. When stood next to a Death Watch, they will be the same size.

It's by no means a foregone conclusion and we know some embellishments/misinformation usually accompany legitimate leaks so there's definitely room for doubt here. Wait and see.

I'm wondering if these super marines won't be made from humans but from regular marines; humans go through an 'upgrade' to become space marines, with the new process being a further 'upgrade' to super marines.

Let me see if I understand this correctly:
Spoiler:
Eldar healed his soul while Cawl healed his body. The poison was removed after he died.
So the reason he cannot take off his armor is because that will result in death of his soul?

I have a sneaking suspicion whatever "ailment" is keeping him in his armour and this "pain" he constantly felt will be "healed" with his visit to the Big E.

I wonder if they'll create the NuMarines as a new faction, maybe a new Legion for the new Crusade, instead of kit for current Chapters? That certainly wouldn't sit well with some Chapters.

I kind of just hope it is an improvement on the process in making SM. These new, even better, SM will have more to them but take longer to make...that kind of thing.
