Not sure what the price is, though. But that wizard one looks great for conversions.

No they're not. I'm pretty sure I read in here that the wizards are £25, they're £18 for 2.

Anything noticeably new for Aelves and SC in the new General's Handbook?

One does have to love how the new chaos bundle is Mad Max with horses.

They all seem like solid additions for their armies.

One of those and a suitable Star Collecting, and you've got a decent little army.

Particularly fond of the Skaven one!

Hmm, I might have to pick up a few of them. I've always wanted those Chaos Knights, but the set of 10 is too expensive...

With that out of the way, I really hope my Wanderers get actual repacks(not just bases) soon. I'd kill for a pack of 10 Wild Riders at $60 and a pack of 20 Eternal Guard for $50.

Definitely worth the money. You get a competent spell caster, five strong cavalry, a solid chariot unit, and a dozen of arguably the best battleline unit in the game! It may not be the best "deal" as far as discount for the price, but the Slaves to Darkness Start Collecting kit is, in my mind, the best value on the tabletop.

Blood Coven is a decent saving of £20.

But only because Witch Aleves are stupidly over priced.

Man, did I spend a lot of cash today with GW!

Excited to see the new word(s) develop, but I would LOVE to see an expansion book using the Age of Sigmar rules in the Old World.

We'll be playing there or in a generic world.

I still think it would be cool if the Old World was 'resurrected.' Not like roll everything back but over time with the help of some godly/god-beast magic, the glowing star cooled and re-formed into the planet again, leaving everything bare. There would be no monuments, no cities, no ruins, just a blank slate and the geography we all know and love. The World would be just like the others, only now worth fighting for to claim new land.

Could produce some nice what ifs, maybe Order decides to settle in Lustria first, or Mannfred decides to build a new castle where Altdorf once stood. Ahwell I can ramble.

Well they're mining the core to produce stormcast equipment and have a floating ring-citadel built around it, so the old world coming back in literal form is largely impossible.

They could always do something like that with the "crust" of the Old World stuck in realm of chaos since the core was all that came out of it.

The warp's distortion of reality would mean any timeline and characters could be focused on and it'd basically be a sandbox for the dark gods to play with. (So status quo really)

Anyway there's always the rpg books made by Cubicle7 to look forward to.

Well if it's generic why not just use the beast realm? It's basically mega-sized Earth with beasties to match.

Seen a few comments here about the boxes so thought it might be worth a clarification. The Allies boxes are the ones with a savings. The "John's X" boxes are one click bundles with no savings.

No, shame like, would've been good if every faction got a saving/ally/SC bundle, although im sure these won't be the last of em.

I'm betting they will. Probably will get Ironjaws next considering the hints from the Path to Glory's bonesplitterz heading to Hammerhal and that Facebook Hammerhal poster showing fire-bellies and squigs on the rise.

So we might get Ironjaws+ savage orruks/ogre infantry/squig herds.

If anyone's interested, the prices for the Mighty Empires bundles are 130 euros each. Eventh though it's +- 40% added value, I still won't be buying them, for for me it's just a shameless business strategy to sell old models that probably aren't selling.

What is shameless about selling models? Old models at a discount? Bundled? We are here for the looks. Models don't lost value over time, if you like how it looks. They aren't cellphones.

Yes, exactly. Forcing you into thinking they are the good guys by giving you a discount for models you probably wouldn't have bought in the first place. And getting rid of the old stock.

And that's why nobody's buying them. Because they look out of scale/too old, compared to the new stuff GW's putting out. Just look at the Chaos Warriors..

I still love the "new" Chaos Warriors. (Can't believe them and Be'lakor were brand new when I started up my WHFB Chaos army. Where does the time go?
