They have said they will break up the core set into add ons, but only near the end.

I really like the way this one was run - I didn't participate too much in Bones 3 but I was around for 1 and 2 and I remember all the complaining whenever a stretch goal was chronoscope figs, or to flesh out an expansion that someone wasn't interested in. Here it felt like whenever a goal added something specific to a fringe expansion it also came with free core figs or some other interesting add-on. Even when it wasn't the most exciting things ever it always felt like there was something interesting coming.

Looked really cool and was possibly on overall scale with the Bones 3 Not-Tiamat. Hopefully this will be their surprise reveal to drive the pledge total during the last few days of the campaign.

Just going through the whole thing, looking for what I want and I come up with this.

CORE SET - Gryphon, Nagendra, and Cave Dwellers. Not enough to buy the core set.

OPTIONAL REWARDS - Hill Giants, Fire Giant Huntsman, Tree of Dispair, Hill Giant Hunter, Roc, Frost Giant Heroine, Frost Giant Ranger

CHRONOSCOPE - Nothing. Most of it is just Bones versions of stuff I already bought in metal.

DARKERACH - Troglodites. Not enough to buy the expansion.

DREADMERE - Peryton (but not until I see an actual rendering). Not enough to buy expansion.

RULERS OF HELL - Eh. Maybe, if the final figures really grab me.

LOST VALLEY I - Axebeak. Clubtail. Maybe Hornslasher. Not enough to buy expansion.

LOST VALLEY II - Nothing.

ADD ONS - Maybe the zombie dragon. Maybe the Blackspring Wyvern. I have to decide if I have room to display them before I bother.

Really, the new Giants and the Roc are the only things I really excited about.

Eh, if you only buy giants, Reaper will have $45 out of your wallet. Not a trivial amount of money.

And this large figure isn't trivial, either! I'm sure it detaches, so you have MORE TERRAIN for your tabletop!



For the necrophiles the number of gravestone pillar toppers in the Core is now *six* per sculpt, not one. The pillars themselves will be available in the Reaper store as part of the Gravestone set.

Definitely glad Reaper's listening to criticisms and making large and terrain Bones. They also released "sensibly dressed" female giants in non-seductive poses (anyone remember the female Storm Giant)?

Lost Valley fully unlocked!

Wow, I thought they would only get me for $12 for the tree of despair, but the terrain bundle is an insta buy, and now I'm afraid I can't resist the Lost Valley expansion. Part 3 of the Lost Valley looks like 90% things I want, so it tipped me over the edge.

I also like those giants...giantesses?

The terrain is a must-buy for me, but next campaign I would really like to see some more vertical or multi-storey pieces.

What a sprint at the end. The last few additions have been great!

Ow, raising EU prices by 20% in the last 48h might slow this down a lot.

The 20% VAT was already in the pledge manager when I looked earlier in the week. It just took them a few more days to tell people about it.

Well I'm in $30, maybe $50.

I don't even know what country I'll be in by 2019...

I like those stone giants. Not sure about the terrain though I appreciate the thought.

Not quite enough in their to make the whole core set a worthwhile buy for me. I'd probably go with:

Monsters $7 (even though I only really want the Gryphon)
Dire Beast $4
Snake Cultists $6
Ape Attack $4
Cave Dwellers $10 (even though I only want three ofthe five)

So, that's $31 instead of $100.

I'd like those raptors in the Lost Valley #3, but I don't want the Bear Clan figures and I'm ambivalent about the Stone Giants so I'm not sure if I'll buy it yet.

I just got an email with the Blacktooth Terror (t-rex) add on, so I'm all over that one as long as they hit that total before the end.

Need a giant ape to fight that!

Is it bad the only thing I really want from this entire KS is the Gazebo? Anybody want to let one go when the KS is finished?

They certainly know how to spring some big surprises out in the last few hours! Was trying to avoid this KS too
