Sounds like Crimson Crown from AoS.
Just looked up what that was:
AGE OF SIGMAR - The Crimson Crown: When making attacks with the bearer and any KHORNE DAEMON models from your army that are within 8" of them in the combat phase, you can make one additional attack with that model for each hit roll of 6 you make. Any bonus attacks made in this manner must use the same weapon that generated them, but cannot themselves generate additional attacks.
That sounds a lot better than the one in 40k since it procs during the HIT roll and not the WOUND roll. The 40k one, if I'm understanding it correctly, makes you go backwards from the WOUND roll to then roll more HITS, which does seem like what hikaru said: insane book-keeping. Plus the amount of WOUND rolls you have will almost always be less than your HIT rolls, making it proc even less often.

I think I'll still try it once. Drop in 30 Bloodletters in front of a JuggerHerald, Stratagem them to 3D6 charge in, and daisy chain so they stay within 6 inches of the Herald. Could be good.

On the flip side: JuggerLord with Axe of Blind Fury with JuggerHerald with this relic could be...cool...maybe...

Thank you!!!! Is there a range limit to Deluge of Nurgle? Is it the closest enemy unit within X inches, or just the closest enemy unit anywhere on the table?

Any changes to Karanak or Skulltaker? I know back in 7th Skulltaker had the option for a Juggernaut of Khorne but they removed it in the Index.

Seems like the flail is a much better option than the sword you can replace it with, seeing as its 3 additional attacks that also have some range, flat 2 dmg instead of random d3 that could be worse and the dmg spills over. So I'm going to take that.
I just can't decide between the main sword or bell. Thematically, this massive Daemon ringing its bell, tearing reality around him with the echoing ring as Daemons slop their way into reality is cool as hell. In game, it could be potentially quite good too, restoring units around him and getting some easier summoning in. But the sword is really nice though. I guess it would depend on the army list itself and how it plays

EDIT: I'd probably go the sword personally, thinking about it. I'm running Nurgle Daemons alongside Death Guard, so I'll probably be able to deepstrike most of my Daemon stuff, along with nurglings already being able to spawn that close. Though restoring the Daemon units around him is still nice, and it also wouldn't take cp to summon the other units...

Skarbrand got a lot just from having access to the deepstrike ability. He went from being nearly useless against any form of shooting army to being quite lethal. I don't know about the rest of you, but once people realized what his rules were, he rarely made it to the other side of the board and was focused down hard. Being able to drop him into the back line and also reroll charges (due to him being a character and having access to the Loci), he will be quite the devastating beast again while also preventing annoying flyers from retreating from combat. Good bye Tau units!

Is there any update on point totals? People seem to be making lists which sounds really fun but I am extremely keen on the troops, brims/blues/pinks PB/Bloodletters etc. any point updates on the troop units?

As far as we know, troops are staying put. The OP ones and gak ones are just becoming better or worse by raw stats.

Yeah that is pretty sweet. Deepstrike some bloodletters as well for good measure. Curious about all the warlord traits. Hopefully the named characters get paired with decent traits as well.

Thinking of a super fun idea for anti dark reaper or gunline spam. Take a unit of 20 flesh hounds and use the deepstrike strategem for 2 CP then another CP to give them the 3d6 charge. Because of their base size you can tie up nearly an entire board length and they are still scary as hell in CC with a buttload of attacks.

Hikaru, do the daemon relics specify if they can/can't be used on named characters? Just curious, as I have a pipe dream of giving it to Kairos, even though I know it's not likely.

Blood Angels, Custodes, Tzeentch, Alpha Legion, Astra Militarum, Deathwatch, Thousand Sons, Imperial Knights, Tau, Genestealer Cult.

Doubtful, its one of the newer daemon kits. I looked at my get starting Slaanesh Daemon box and the remove reference to the Herald on the chariot instruction sheet, so that's that. I'm sure we'll eventually get a few plastic heralds whenever Slaanesh's gets rolled out in AOS. I only play Mono-Slaanesh, so I don't see any reason to buy the new codex. Back to my Emperor's Children then.

Have to ask because i am not clear. Do units arriving via deepstrike arrive at the end of your movement phase ala terminators (thus protected from opponents alpha strike) or do them come down prior to first player term ala alpha legion?
