I don't feel I contribute much at all to this thread (in fact I really just come here to ask stupid questions that I'm not finding the answers to because I'm not looking in the right places), but I was wondering if anyone saw anything about allegiance abilities for the various cities and whether or not they would still be usable. I've been considering putting together an Anvilgard army based around the boxed set and was wondering if there would be new allegiance abilities for the cities, or If it would still be possible to use the old ones. Thanks in advance for any clarification!

I haven't seen anything mentioning them, so I would assume they would work the same way they do now; you must take generic Order allegiance to utilize them.

Unless I missed an article...Cover still only grants a bonus to your save, not a negative to your being hit.

Also it wouldn't work if you're fishing for a "Look Out Sir!" in addition to her Enchanting Beauty rule, since it's not a unit of 3 or more models.
And it's kind of a silly chance to take since you could get stuck going first and the other play would then get to have the Gravetide chomp down on her.

I will say, I'm waiting to hear back on this but if all of these "Fly" spells can be affected by the Ritual of the Tempest from the Idoneth...things are going to get interesting.

A little late but just take Khailebron temple for the army and put a couple models next to Morathi and this thing for -3 to hit in the shooting phase and 3+ save.

And a cauldron of blood for even more good measure...

Wow those spells are much bigger than I expected. Makes the 80 dollar price tag for the spells entirely worth it just for the models IMO.

Most are about as big as I thought; the walls a touch smaller; but the big purple ball of death that's huge!

Price confirmed on WarCom. Soul Wars will be the same price a Dark Imperium. Spells are the price of a Start Collecting kit. GHB is the same price as the last two.

That's an amazing deal in terms of how many models and the book you get for $160 US.

I'm just gonna sell of the stormcast side and paint me some spirits. I'm just worried the multi-part plastic kits will be an arm and a leg later... It's Death Guard all over again but I can't help it.

Ideally not quite like Veridyan and Slambo. She's a Sigmarine. It wouldn't be unrealistic to get her in plastic.

I have no particular problem with the resin Veridyan and Slambo came in. They're both in a cabinet right now and don't have any issues. But it's just an idle hope for the future as I like that Stormcast image.

That's actually meant to be just a normal Sequitor. The big box comes with 2 Primes(one with the 2h weapon, one with shield+weapon).

You get 8 Sequitors in the Soul Wars box. The easy build comes with 3.

I've been getting the impression that the unhelmeted, 'casual' Sequitor is just meant to be a good way for someone to practice painting or have a cool display model since it otherwise puts you at 11 models(a weird number for anything but Open Play).

It's not new. We had units before that said that, same as we had the other version.

This isn't new. The description on a warscroll is for Open Play. The Match Play profile is wear you'll see unit minimums and maximums. We may very well pay per model in this edition, but don't read too much into the warscroll unit description.

Warscrolls do have model limits, but the ones in the starter sets are normally 'any number of models' so you can play with the contents of the box as you build it.
