Alright, my model hiatus for February is now in full swing. However I just got 10 Handgunners off Ebay that I now have to pry off their square bases.

Now the only hobby purchases I'm allowing for are paint and maybe some simple, easy to paint scatter terrain.

Seem like a fun idea.

I bought them when they first dropped. We had a blast with them, but to get the fullest use. make sure to play some games where one army outnumbers the other in the points from time to time.

Finally cracked and picked up Baharroth, Fuegan, Maugan Ra, and Jain Zar to complete my 2nd/3rd edition metal Eldar. Also got some Avatar parts and four Reaper Launchers to convert some Dark Reapers into Exarchs.

Cheers,

Since FW are phasing out sculpted shoulder pads, bought 4 sets for Salamanders.
But then it was only 60 euros total, so I added a few Command Squads.
BUT, then I thought that I was just too lazy to wait 2-3 weeks so added x30 Tech Thralls to get that 300 euro express shipping

I ended up falling into warcry, and got the spire guys. They're supposed to be gladiator types, but i have other plans for them.

One thing i like about them is that they are almost all standing with two feet on the ground. That feels like a rarity with gw these days.

Cataphracii Terminators, a Contemptor Dread to convert into a Gladius, and a Seeker Chariot. I'd have bought a box of Eliminators as well but nobody seems to have the ruddy things in stock.

Wrath of the Everchosen. Looks like a powerful book, especially if you want to run Be’Lakor with unending legions or tons of Bloodthirsters.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Saw that GW sneakily introduced a Hive Warzone box that sold out pretty fast? Well luckily for me my local retailer got two boxes so I snagged one up.

Cant wait to start kitbashing that necromunda stuff with my recent sector mechanicus bits! Next purchase will probably be the KillTeam starter for some cheap terrain, minis and those KT tokens that for some stupid reason are not sold individually..

Bits & Kits restocked, so I got the legs I was missing for the Tyrannofex.

Of course now that means I had four when the plan was three, so I guess I'll do one with a Fleshborer Hive.

I bought some Blood and Plunder Infantry and cav to finish off my French Friday, then I bought some of the Valhallans from GW on Sunday. I added way too much to my backlog this weekend haha. Luckily im almost done painting the army im currently working on so ill be able to start hammering out Blood and Plunder. I should be able to get the the Valhallans by Christmas... 2030....

I do enjoy when I abandon a project, but manage to recoup enough to start a new one or convert it over into a new game/miniatures, etc. I generally try to keep 95% of my hobby purchases to eBay ---- and that means I only pay with PayPal...so the only money available is money in that account from selling stuff. Helps keep me balanced.
