Ok, now that I saw the new start collecting necron I think I prefer to buy this with the start collecting skitarii instead of the forgebane box. Maybe the deal is not AS good (or is it?) But I think it is more balanced, as I am not fond of arminger, wraith nor lychguard.

Remember that the lychguard can make praetorians too (that’ll be the way I’m building them). Wraiths are going to be great heavy infantry/light vehicle killers.

I decided to order mine directly from GW and bumped up the shipping from regular to express. It's another €15,50 but at least I'll have it on Wednesday at the latest. That and the whole parcel services system is a fething mess in my country, so I'm not risking the free shipping option, lest it gets lost for six weeks again like with a Forge World order. Royal Mail, unfeth yourself already, please.

I wonder if you have the same new rep we do. Call and call and try and contact them. Finally get thru after like four or five days. Yeah I saw you were trying to get ahold of me, what can I do for you? I’d like to up my preorders for this item. Sorry, that sold out, you should have called sooner.

sounds like an donkey cave to me. I've had to deal with similar types of sales rep in a couple diff industries. You call them to get something on order and they don't call back until after their allocation is all spoken for. WTF screw that GW rep.

Mine through Miniature Market (online here in the States). Free shipping, but it won't be here until late next week. Oh, the trade-offs we make. It's not like I don't have plenty of stuff to paint.

Probably stops answering the phone when the stock for the new stuff runs out

after all the only reasons to call rather than put in a standard order is to beg for extra

(doesn't stop it being a crummy way to handle it though, they should be prepared to say Nope, all gone, and any extras are for stores ordering more normal stock and then get shouted at)

Guess I got lucky. I wasn't able to pre-order last week because my car was acting weird, and I didn't want to risk not being able to pay the repair bill (turned out to be something minor, thankfully). My FLGS got several copies and said they'd put one aside for me to pick up when I get off work.

Found a place to get it. It's like 12% off which ain't quite the 50% I was getting, but needs must.

I did see a picture on 4Chan showing off that the Amiga can have its weapons swapped, so the sword in one arm and the melta in the other. That's nice.

Yeah, the shoulders and weapons are all bilaterally symmetrical, so there is zero problem doing a left or right handed version.

Happy to hear the weapons are able to be on either side!

Mine is just sitting at my FLGS waiting for me to pick it up. I'm a little ticked cuz I can't get over there today.

I can't wait, but it might be a while. Prob will not release until after unit boxes come out and who knows when that'll be?

We sure could use an assault type of everything; asscan, lascannon & plasma.

I ordered 8 boxes in the end, which meant I got 30 Immortals, 10 deathmarks, 1 cryptek, 6 wraiths, 20 lychguard and 10 praeorians for free after selling the rest separately (actually going a little plus)

I have wondered if GW placed restrictions on what FW can make for the plastic Knights. Extra weapons for the Paladin frame seem like something of an open goal that FW have avoided in favour of full models of there own Knight classes.

Is it obvious where you should magnetize if you want future-proof the Armiger for weapon swaps?

I'll be magnetising my two when I get around to it, but I'll probably build my own weapon options when they come available.

Edit: Where? probably on the elbow joints, though it looks like you can just remove the arms at the shoulders easy enough (not opened my box yet).

I'm not assembling my Armigers until we see the Knight codex. BoLS was right. The weapon/shoulder sprue is definitely labelled "B", but there is no "A". There are also two face plates shown in the instructions that aren't on any of the sprues. There is definitely at least one more sprue that'll come in the stand-alone kit.

All four faceplates from the Forgebane building instructions are on the sprues. 2 are on the weapon sprue and 2 are on the sprue with the feet and body sides. But you're right about the big ol' "B" listed there on the weapon sprue. No other sprue has a signifying letter on it. I'm really curious now why they included a B sprue and not an A sprue for the first reveal. Overall this version of the armiger is less useful. Perhaps in the Forgebane kit some anti tank was needed? I don't know anything about Ad Mech.

The two faceplates on the weapon sprue are not the Faceplates shown in the instructions. Two are definitely missing.

The question is, are these other faceplates from a "missing" sprue for the Warglaive kit? Or are they from a different Armiger variant that will be released in a separate box?

What I'm starting to wonder is if there's going to be an "Armiger" kit of two, with the directions provided being specific to the Warglaive kit.
