Spoiler: The colonists didn't actually die from Nurgle, it was just poor hygiene practices from the crew that spread preventable disease through the entire ship. The entire Rogue Trader scenario is just the made up 'official story' they tell Bobby G.

Dunno, maybe? From the look of things they may be quite pricey as well to even things out and their tactics aren't exactly cheapo either.

High BS isn't going to win the day in a Skirmish game. I don't think they've got the Strength and Toughness to just get plopped onto the board and crush other Kill-Teams. I'm thinking that these will all need to be clustered together to make some damage happen.

But that rotorcannon is kinda scary.

Really interested in the 40k stats - the models are lovely - the medic is the star for me so far.

I'd expect Scion / Guard veteran stats for most models, senior officer for the Rogue Trader.

I am expecting Guard vets in carapace, possibly with WS3+

I think only the Rogue Trader and assassin will have WS3+

Man look at the face of that doctor. How GW has improved.

I don't like these rules for the rogue traders, It feels lame to give one faction such rule breaking things as more than 3 specialists, different unique specialisms AND the ability to go past lvl 1 in matched games? Come on....

We'll have to see when it comes out, but I don't like how it makes every other faction seem like they lack all the options now.

We have not even got all factions..... I would guess they will do characters for all factions in a series of expansion books.

Thinking maybe pick up the game, sell off the Nurgle related stuff....with minis, codex, cards etc, probably get a decent price that will make the Rogue Trader option not so bad.

I would love to see this expand into a more full army-even just a generic squad box so they could be used as IG. Could use las carbines like van Saar from necromunda have since they are close quarters fighters.

I like the models, but the basing choice seems out of place.
