I'm not sure metal sister prices will go up unless GW stops selling them between now and 2019.

Oof, I like both Sisters and Harlequins. GW is just toying with me here, I don't know if I'd rather start up Sisters or Harlequins/Dark Eldar/Ynnari soup.

My purchasing plans have now shifted for next year. I was going to go whole hog on Admech to bolster up my half of Forgebane.

Hopefully Jes Goodwin is playing a big role in the Sisters development. Maybe we could even get lucky enough to squeeze a sculpt out of him.

Smart to announce this now, with so many 3rd party options out or in the offing.

So, that's two additional factions over last time? 10 factions for wave 2? Maybe we could see some Kharadron Overlords, Daughters of Khaine, Idoneth Deepkin, Sylvaneth, Nurgle, Tzeentch, and so on. Age of Sigmar has created a bunch of really amazing armies, but the initial Shadespire releases were all kind of from the generic factions.

Looking at it in the big scheme of things I'm just stoked that GW is simultaneously pushing into new areas - with the Deepkin and the Melusai and Khinerai - while also fleshing out some of the corners of the established lore with the new Knights and Sisters.

Things like Exodites or Inquisitorial forces or Tau allied races all seem potentially feasible now.

It's pretty exciting. Kudos to GW.

Mixed Primaris in the Death Watch Codex? That could be interesting. I wonder if they will get any models beyond a clam pack lieutenant and a upgrade sprue?

The Deepkin look great especially the characters. Although I'm still not sure about the whole flying fish/eels/turtle thing And going by the helm design on some of the flying war turtles(what the heck did I just type? ) crew, it looks like the Mist weaver from Shadspire is part of the faction.

They did it! Praise the plastic: We are all sisters on this blessed day.

This ought to make a lot of people happy. Great to see a proper app for 40k army building is for sure coming as well. They were taking their sweet time with that one...

I totally agree. Can't wait to see what else they're coming out with for 40k. The models for the new Age of Sigmar factions have been highly fresh.

We already have one or two in the 40k general forum bitching that it will probably be near the end of the 8th cycle and will be out of date for 9th.

I don't care if it's just in time for 11th edition and they somehow rework the army into a horde army. Affordable models that actually look halfway decent will be great. Of course that's 'affordable' in GW plastic standards.

However I'm more currently looking forward to new Imperial Knight information. Armigers and knight variants are lovely.
