170$ Ain’t bad at all.

So if these are coming out on the 24th for Pre Order we can expect on Dec 8 for Wrath and Glory

I highly doubt we see Wrath this year, late November is usually the latest we’ve historically seen a major release. I think December will be Black Library , Hobbit rerelease and book, made to order miniatures, possibly the first WHQ add on product.

They’ll probably use the new year open day to show Wrath, the next open day is Vigilus so I don’t think they’ll show an AoS based product (yes I know it can be used in 40k but it’s AoS based story wise)

Maybe the 40k part of Wrath and Glory will be on Vigilus?

I think we will see everything that was previewed by GW released before 2019.

They previewed quite a bit for Wrath, showing off formally several models and the cover art, which shows two other new contents in the form of the two heroes. Right now we basically know the box content in terms of models, unless GW has even more new stuff hiding (which would be nice but is unlikely).

Whilst the leak of the Fiend of Slaanesh might have pushed them to reveal a bit more earlier, I don't think they'd have shown all they have thus far if it was a very long way off. I think it will come right after Blackstone and hopefully this year. That said the Delaque also have to be slipped in as well and they got a full proper showcase.

Sounds good. Oh well. I am probably still going to buy the box with a buddy of mine and split it up so I can have all the upgrade Sprues if they are in it.

Wrath and Glory is the current edition of 40k pen and paper RPG (and utter garbage)

Wrath and Rapture is the upcoming Khorne vs Slaanesh army box.

Ok got it thanks. It's especially confusing because I am only interested in one of those things and they seem to be teasing both of them at the same time.

So far as I can see the Imperial Fist deal is far worse than the standard marine one. It’s 20 models instead of 25 and a redemptor instead of a repulsor. The aggressors the fists get are cheaper than the inceptors the marines get too. From the pic it even looks like the redemptor might be the easy to build one - though I couldn’t say that for certain.

The only positive is that I don’t think the fists get any reivers In their box, while 5-10 of the marines seem to be reivers. Looks like the fists get 10 intercessors and 5 hellblasters, which is arguably a better deal than 10 intercessors and 10 reivers.

Gathering the Informations.

They don't put the easy builds into these boxes. So it's not those.

The price on the 'standard' Marine one is bulked up by the presence of the Repulsor Grav-Tank.
That's $80 vs the $65 for the Redemptor.
Then you have 10 Reivers at $60 vs 5 Helblasters for $35.
Both have Intercessors in sets of 10 it seems, for $60 each.
Aggressors and Inceptors both are $50 for each.
And then lastly you have the Primaris Captain for $35 each.
80(1 Repulsor)+60(10 Reivers)+60(10 Intercessors)+50(3 Inceptors)+35(1 Captain)=285
65(1 Redemptor)+35(1 Captain)+35(5 Helblasters)+50(3 Aggressor)+60(10 Intercessors)=245

$40 difference which equates to the $15 difference in the Repulsor vs Redemptor and the $25 difference for the Reivers vs Helblaster.

Although it is worth mentioning that the Fists one is supposed to include the new upgrade pack which would be $12.50 for each set, so that's another $25 at least for 2 frames.

So it seems a lot of People buying the new Townscape AoS scenery found it to contain a different sprue than on the box (it showed a building previously only available in the more expensive Hallowheart board set.

GW has issued a response...

"Hail Faithful of Sigmar,

Through the machinations of Tzeentch warping space and time, it has come to our attention that the Azyrite Ruins as listed on the Webstore pictures were incorrect, as this product had changed some time ago from its original inception to the finished product. The good news is that the product you received is indeed correct, and we have removed the incorrect listing on the webstore in order to avoid further confusion. We appreciate you reaching out to us in regards to this, and have attached the updated instructions for this kit for your use. We hope you have a wonderful day, and please let us know if we are able to assist with anything further!

For Sigmar!"

Basically, they got the image wrong on the box, instructions and all promotional material, so in response best you will get from them is new instructions. They will also not take returns if the box has been opened, which it would have been to spot the fault.

In the grand scheme, not a big deal, its the same amount of terrain. But it means more duplication of the same sprue from the Ruins set and a lot of people (me included) have or were going to buy this set as a way to get the Hallowheart sprue.

Pretty poor response to a mistake by GW.

Errrm, I'm pretty sure that's not legal in the UK/EU. If a company completes a transaction with you and provides a product that isn't as-advertised, they are obligated to take it back and issue a full refund, shipping included(and pay for return shipping if you bought it online), even if the packaging has been opened if that is necessary to discover the fault. They can't just say "oops, tough", the mistake is theirs and once they take your money and hand over/ship you product they're bound by consumer rights law.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

I think the old, 'contents may differ' clause has to be considered, but im in no way an expert so cant say for certain. The person who provided that info on TGA has since been told GW will extend an offer to return on this occasion, so looks like complaining at your local store might get a resolution.

That's what has been said, although not by GW yet as far as I know. I wouldn't worry about missing out, you can still get the GSC box from last year now, they hang around for a couple of months even the most popular ones.
