Just got my Sector Imperialis in the mail. Here's pictures of the new sprues.

The actual content of the box is 4x new sprue, 3x floor sprue, 3x low wall sprue.

No ruined pieces? Incredible.

the only question that matters throughout this entire thread is ... is the added IF chapter just for show or is there more than what we see (upgrade pack) ... and if the mega primaris bundle has something new for repulsor?

The Repulsor is the current Repulsor. It is not new at all.

The Imperial Fists Battleforce comes with plastic Imperial Fists shoulder pad upgrades for the infantry. That's the only extra thing in there as far as I understand.

Is it possible to make the items on the promotional pictures with the contents of the box?

e.g. the GW site shows 3 Large Buildings. Is it possible to make these? And are you limited to only these or is it quite customisable?

Yes. Full instructions for all 3 buildings in the image are included. Like any of the Kill Team stuff, you can mix it up. However, a lot of the wall length included is those 3 wall segments, which does cut the versatility a bit. Bad for very small buildings/ruins, good for larger ones.

No, no. It's cool. I more meant no ruined pieces on the sprue pic you posted. It's rare to just get sprues with nothing but complete walls with these kits.

You might be able to trim down the ruined floor pieces into a triangle, but I agree in principle. The terrain system needs more floor pieces in general. The Sector Mechanicus stuff is better for that.

The leaked pictures for the 'battleforce' style boxes mentioned they'd launch on the 1st of December - however with next week's pre-orders apparently not including these, any idea when they'll launch next? Is the 1st of December actually the pre-order date?

That's quite possible. It's also possible they'll go up for preorder on November 23rd(which might sound strange, but they're launched Blackstone Fortress on a Friday instead of a Saturday as normal).

Saves you $51 from the MSRP before taxes are factored in.

They ABSOLUTELY will not put them up for sale on Nov 23, this is Black Friday and they will do everything to prevent giving USA customers from getting any more then 15 percent off. I already spoke to my vendor about getting these for some black friday preorders and he said they definately won't be available for preorder on Friday.

Same as last year when they released the Christmas bundles they intentionally avoid release prior to or on black friday. Only hope you have is if Ebay does a coupon, but since they are doing black friday specials on certain items for 2 weeks there is a high chance of not seeing it (atleast during preorder).

Well for gw it's the preorder date that counts so if they say 1.12 high chance they mean preorder then

They could probably fit a full longer wall, damaged wall, one full triangle, and a couple ruined floor segments on one sprue, if they can fit a 3 panel wall and 2 single panel walls.

My local redshirt has confirmed the imperial fist come with upgrade sprue, wich comes in the sprue he doesn't know.

The Eldar box is a lot more interesting, what with the CA leaks indicating a big drop in points for the Wraithknight...

They would need a longer wall section if they did triangular floor piece, or even if you wanted to build anything with a 45deg wall. Trigonometry means to keep the rest of the building aligned to the grid floor structure the diagonal piece (wall) would need to be longer.

Whilst I feel that's a bit cheeky, they are offering sprues to fill in those non-90 degree angles, which I for one am very interested in!

Can't seem to find a link at the moment though. May be a different platform to Kickstarter?

Sure, but let's not pretend they're not more or less the same dimensions and go together the same way as the GW Sector Imperialis, and exist solely to cater to 40k players.

Hi everybody! Does anybody know if Battleforces will be available at non-GW retailers like Wayland? How was it like in the past few years?

At least some 3rd parties got them last year.

They are fully available to retailers. I usually get a few through my FLGS and I snagged Element Games' last Arcanite army box just 2 or 3 months ago.
