Fulgrim would be a good choice as that would be a good lore excuse for him to suddenly reappear

Nope, that was generic SM. GW again was too cheap to throw in even a single UM upgrade sprue, there is literally nothing in the box making it UM release besides box art (when even literally whos from 4th founding get their upgrade sprues included...), not even slightest hint on the Lt mini. Hell, it had more Novamarines accents and design ties than it did UM...

It included the standard transfer sheet, which is Ultramarines specific.
Also included are 2 transfer sheets – 1 Aeldari and 1 Ultramarines Infantry

The Lieutenant has the laurels on his helm(where have we seen that before...)
Spoiler:

He then has the Lieutenant emblem on his arm holding the Bolt Pistol out. It's not a new emblem, it's been in the box since the Primaris Captain:
Spoiler:

What? According to you, laurels = Ultramarines?

Gee, I had no idea Crimson Fists are Ultramarines!

Spoiler:

Or IF, for that matter:

Spoiler:

Or Blood Angels:

Spoiler:

Or Black Templars

Spoiler:

As for transfer sheet, you know what else includes standard transfer sheet? Literally every generic SM unit ever. So, according to you, Tactical Squad is Ultramarine only?

As for lieutenant pad, you're aware that this is standard codex badge? And literally every single chapter on Dark Imperium transfer sheet has their own variant of it? And if you actually looked at the Lt, instead of grasping at straws, you'd see he has Novamarine emblems on chest and gauntlets? I mean, you can try to argue it's stylized Iron Halo or something but special snowflake chapters have their own chapter badges there, and the fact the UM omegas are completely absent once again proves it's at best 100% generic Lt, with literally zero Ultramarine cues, not even pteruges or crest...

So, yeah, thanks for shooting your own foot with a baneblade, but all you did was proving my point. There is literally nothing Ultramarine in that box, it's 100% generic marines.

Now run that list with Primaris items. Because Lieutenant Tolmeron(Blood Angels) doesn't have laurels on his helm. Zakariah doesn't have laurels on his helm. The two from Dark Imperium didn't have laurels, nor does the store special sculpt.

There has been one Lieutenant model that has laurels on his helm, and like the Space Wolf sculpt he's only available in a themed box. Gee I wonder what that means...

As for transfer sheet, you know what else includes standard transfer sheet? Literally every generic SM unit ever. So, according to you, Tactical Squad is Ultramarine only?

Nope, just when they specifically call it out as the "Ultramarines" transfer sheet. It's all about branding the boxes.

So, yeah, thanks for shooting your own foot with a baneblade, but all you did was proving my point. There is literally nothing Ultramarine in that box, it's 100% generic marines.

Other than the Ultramarines transfer sheet, specifically called out, and the laurels that don't exist on any other Primaris characters yet right?

Ugh this wait is painful.

I just want to know what's coming so I can plan my hobby budget accordingly. If it's Abaddon and Ultramarines, zero money will be spent. If it's Iron Hands and Fulgrim with Emperor's Children, all the money will be spent. I NEED TO KNOW WHICH IT WILL BE.

So bad moon orks vs. an iron hands successor chapter, mars skitarii, and guard soup (cadian infantry, mordian commissar, and I'm not sure what unit is holding the banner). There is also a genestealer cult, and thus the possibility of a hive fleet (though I'm not sure which hive fleet is nearby). It's right next to the EoT and the 13th black crusade is back on the move, and thus may become involved. Aeldari of various flavors are already involved, the Ynnari aren't there yet but that might be a matter of time. It's right next to the Altymhor necron dynasty, who we know very little about other than the fact they are one of the few dynasties that take the lesser races as slaves, though since they are on the other side of the rift they would probably benefit from the IoM losing their access. Sounds like a party.

The only faction missing is the Tau, and maybe they will catch a ride with the necrons or aeldari.

Constantly being negative doesn't make you seem erudite, it just makes you look like a curmudgeon.

There's no "commissar". It's art based off of the Cadian Command Squad set, commonly used for Company Commanders.
The Standard Bearer is a bit of an oddity. It looks like unused artwork of Jarran Kell, Ursukar Creed's bodyguard and standard bearer. He's been a fairly distinctive model in this regard since he comes with a powerfist on his right arm, a power sword(not shown in the art) and the vox bit on the front of his carapace armor along with the 'speaker' on his right shoulder. The banner in question is the Cadian VIII(Creed's Regiment) as well...which is weird because Kell died in The Gathering Storm.

Also the Skitarii? They aren't Martian. Those colors(black robes with red armor and gold trim) is Stygies VIII.

Tau are present on Vigilus--or at least within the system Vigilus is situated. All of the Kill Team sets talk about their relationship to Vigilus.

Neat, I suppose they are from the Chalnath Expanse? I can't seem to find it on the map, and by vigilius seems as good as any other point.

Maybe we're looking at this the wrong way. Maybe it's not a release for just one army. Maybe a bunch of armies are about to get some stuff?

The Ork behind that Brazen Claw Primaris Marine has never seen a Primaris Marine before, and as they're bigger than regular Marines the Ork probably assumes its a statue, which is why he hasn't turned to face the Marine.

Don't engage, Kan. The man only exists to start his posts with some variation of "You are wrong!!!". There's no victory to be had here.

That looks like a transfer sheet.

And it's a trident?

WAIT! I got it. 40k/Aquaman tie-in novel.

GW is joining the DC Universe!

[EDIT]: Transfer sheet says 'Emperor's Spears Transfer Sheet'. So they're the first Primaris Chapter getting a book, right?

One on the left seems to be Dark Angels or some chapter with a similar sword with wings insignia. The middle, I can't make out, and the right is definitely the mentors chapter. Maybe this is a dedicated book to successor chapters, particularly primaris?

I'm not sure if its the angle, but it definitely looks female. Maybe it's just a guy with long hair? Or maybe it's an inquisitor in power armour and the wings on the shoulder pad are just an aquila? I'd be super surprised if this was how female primaris marines debuted.

I hope its just chapter smurfs.
Her armor doesn't look big enough to be powered armor, and I think marines have bigger heads. The sigil on her shoulder does look more like an aquila, yes.

It's an Aaron Dembski-Bowden book.

He likes to have female characters present, and it's likely she is an Imperial official.
