RDG Gaming ( https://www.facebook.com/faunmodels) who did the Fauns KS (and are being distributed by Wargames Atlantic) were playing about with ants for both SF and Fantasy but I have a feeling they're on the backburner at the moment (I can't find the reference to it though so I could be wrong)

Cool looking ant people. Thank you for posting the pictures
I tracked it down on wga’s fb page. As you said those are RGD concepts and wga has no current plans for ants.

Ant-men? Where?
EDIT: Also, mention of lizardmen--even in passing---on their FB page has me hopeful.
Looks around with feverish eyes...... I ....I havent said anything like that!

Thank you! I had a creative slump about the time Covid hit, instead of letting it impact the project, I started delving into projects to boost creative flair. Passion projects of the like. Right now I have 4-5 project folders in que.

Thanks! I don't hate the original heads, but for a small model count project like Kill Team it was worth the trouble to get the look I wanted. I have another box that will become a few units of Stormtroopers for a full-scale Guard army - with that many figures, I may just leave them with the originals.
Same thing with the lasgun barrels - out of the box the muzzles of the guns have this sort of duckbill shape rather than being round. On these ones I went through the effort of replacing (and pinning) with GW lasgun barrels, but it's such a minor point that I'm just not going to bother when doing more for this other project.

Lord Marcus,
My bad. I read the 'flavor text' posted on the FB page that referenced lizard creatures and some discussions that followed from fans and somehow got the idea that lizard people were coming sooner or later.
"As a horde of the lizard creatures prepare their final charge against the last two Grognard defenders, Lieutenant Gazan implores Premier Canonnier Legrand to defend the Eagle at all cost!"

Maybe?
