Whoa, fantastic stuff, missed the previews!
The Cavalry looks very cool and should serve the Fantasy fans well also.
The Franks will get absorbed into my hodgepodge Goth army.
Time for some new releases, enough with the teasers!

I wonder how they're gonna fit all that + horses on one standard WGA-sized sprue.

If the horses end up looking too small, I may buy some Fireforge Northmen horses. The conquistadors will be for a fantasy project anyway. Excited about the dog.
I am thinking, the Conquistadors, the Conq cavalry and the Landsknect ogres will make a pretty good fantasy army.

Agreed, especially first 2. Some head swaps from other kits could make them even more unique and fun.

Uh, what? "Very little arm armour" is 'consistent'? Here, have a look:
I have no idea what 'winged hussars' you mean because real ones had three layers of armour on their arms, because fights with other medium and heavy cavalry using swords/sabers were very common and you needed that protection in lieu of shield.
I will also be really disappointed if these are supposed to be 'hussars' as breastplate style is wrong, pauldrons are way too short, no bracers, no rich decoration that is like the common part of all hussar armour styles. The leg protection also looks iffy to me and way more 'knight' than a 'hussar' and most certainly not consistent with their usual look.
Important to remember that the WInged Hussar armor changed dramatically over their ~250 year history. The armor worn by a winged hussar of 1550 is going to look dramatically different to that worn by a hussar in 1750 - to the point that you wouldn't even really realize that they are both part of the same organization.

The army I am planning will likely just be a shelf army, no ruleset or game in mind... just something to accompany me in to the after life... Which means just a fun thing that passes the time and make me happy.
The Landsknecht ogres are supposed to come with morion heads... So should match up in theme with the Conquistadors. I think they will look good in a themed army with them. I am thinking
Conquistador sword and shield unit of 30.
Conquistador Musket unit of 30
Conquistador polearm unit of 30
Conq cavalry sword and shield unit of 6
Conq cavaly lance unit of 6 x 2
Conq cavalry command unit of 6
Ogre with hand cannon unit of 6
Ogre with great sword unit of 6 x 2
Ogre command unit of 6
Thats 3 boxes of Conquistadors, 2 boxes of Conq cav and 2 boxes of Ogres...
The Peculiar Ogres that Two Idiots printing are selling look good. I may bolster my ogres with them. Especially the heavy armor ones. I kind of replaced my Fireforge Dwarf army i was planning with this.

1. Worldwide freight shipping is still slow due to the pandemic and delta variant.
2. Wargames Atlantic does not publish release dates until kits go on pre-order.

I haven’t wanted to make an Empire force this bad since Storm of Chaos. I’m looking forward to all the Conquistador stuff more than I had expected. Better start pulling some WHFB omnibuses out of storage..
And the Franks bodies look very much like male Shieldwolf Shieldmaidens, which makes both kits more interesting to me.

The Shieldmaidens are very tall -- dunno about a comparison as I don't have any WGA stuff yet, but at least a head taller than e.g. pre-AoS Warhammer minis.

I doubt Warlord are snooping on Wargames Atlantic as these projects take a long time to come to fruition but it is certainly funny that they have Panzer Leher on the way and WWI French on the way from Skytrex.

Are the Eisenkern a new mold or re-tooling? Was Mark Mondragon/Dreamforge able to get the original molds?
They look great, just for some reason I thought these weren't the exact same plastics, but could just be my addled brain getting some other announcement mixed up.
Thanks!

Not sure. This image seems to imply an update and Mark is credited.
