I've been tempted by only a few model designers to part with money to stump up for a 3D printer and Reptilian Overlords are one of the incredible individual/teams to have done so. Very cool partnership with Wargames Atlantic, can't wait to see more!

Ahh. So it was that set in the announcement. $39.95 thats more than the WA sets... but I guess price was set by RO.

I do like the set more seeing the painted box examples. May get a box or at least some sprues from Lord Marcus when they become available.

And yeah, the Hee Haw set does sound amazing... I could make some GI Joe Helicopter pilots with that set.

Because of the larger pricetag, I'm going to be keeping less of these I'm stock than usual, but yes I will have them .

@privateer4hire this was RO reaching out to Wargames Atlantic. Probably through the outsource program.

I feel the same. Everytime I see thier name I think "why am I not looking at Lizardman models?"

lOve the guns, love the models.

Not a fan of the bare arms. I wonder what could be used to kitbash them....I know Mad Robot has short sleeve arms...

Greenstuff? Roll out a few sausages, flatten, cut and apply might work.

Honestly the Space Nams seem to be exactly the overly muscular 80's characters that GW has been trying to achieve with their catachans (and succeeded in the newer limited edition models).
Although the sculpts seem high quality, I think it is precisely the excessive muscles that make the models less appealing to me. I am not a great fan of bodybuilders with muscles that go too much beyond the average (both male and female) as they typically seem out of place in a combat zone, as strength alone is rarely of any use and often behave like idiots in most movies/series.

Regardless, these should pair nicely with GW's catachan limited edition models which are modern sculpts and I suspect we will be seeing many of these as part of catachan or equivalent armies.

Took a second look at the spacenam figures and I do think they missed a real opportunity in not including helmets or an armored torso option to put in place of the bare chest piece. Still, they really are plastic-Catachans-done-better and for those looking to build an army of Arnold's, this is your kit.

I'll be curious to see if folks find them compatible enough with other Wargame Atlantic lines for head swaps and maybe even adding sleeved arms. Perhaps the Raumjager kit is bulky enough?

Reptilian Overlords has a set of helmets and berets for the Spacenam, but alas, no dangling straps:

As for the torsos, most of them are actually armored.

Most of the kits in the poll aren't even anywhere on the RO site? I can only see the not-Mordheims and the not-Blood Pact.

It would be cool to see more folks from Dakkadakka getting involved vocally on the Wargames Atlantic forum. It is a great way to express customer feedback to WGA as an alternative to Facebook. Lots of fun brainstorming sessions on the forum.

I would but I have to go through 3 cycles of password recovery every day because it has corrupted cookies or whatever

Send a message to war games Atlantic via email. They can't fix it if they don't know that the issue is present.

I had this problem as well, but my workaround is to go to the shop page, and press log in directly from there. For some reason it works every time.

I had this issue with Internet Explorer and occasionally Google Chrome… but my new comp uses Microsoft edge and I haven’t had the issue since.

It was pretty annoying though…

The upshot of the forums is you occasionally have Hudson Adams there and can engage directly with Wargames Atlantic.

This set looks better and better with each reveal. Alien races that aren't anthropomorphic or animal based are so needed in the affordable minis space and if it has applications to Tyranids and "Aliens" then so much the better.

Desert Reavers (!Tallarn) need to be assembled from torsos, legs, and arms. Others are on the second page of sets.

I showed my wife, who doesn't know much about the hobby, the pictures of the GW Catachans and the WA/RO Space Nam and she had to laugh at how bad the Catachans are by comparison, especially the front guy with the googly eyes.

WA has made me do something GW never managed to do: consider building a Catachan force.
