I'll go with "cautiously hoping for Ash Wastes", though Scavvies or neo-Ratskins would be cool, too.
Heck, bring back Karloth Valois as a GM tool, and have him use Poxwalkers as models for Plague Zombies...
I want to see GW do it again, this time applying the lessons they learned from KT 21.
Start off with a $210 starter box splash release.
Movement templates with geometric symbols that actually match (3 cm =triangle, frex) but different enough that you can’t interchangeably use KT stuff.
Make the core at least $60 with a $60 compendium.
Replace the compendium, quickly, piecemeal style via WD and new gang specific hardcovers.
Do away with necromunda dice to be released by warcry/KT21 faction dice sets.
Change the flamer and blast templates to new sizes.
Negate their use a year into the edition.
And then.
Get inconsiderate.

As long as a relatively common weapon exists in 3 different locations within the book, all with different stats, and no clear indication as to which one is the right one, I think we should be fine.

Ask Baxx. He knows that particular issue backwards.

And Baxx is also known for exaggerating issues like that, and for writing with intentionally-generalized, information-depleted syntax to conceal the actual preponderance or acuity of those issues.
And you're known for picking up ideas that cuddle with your confirmation bias, and beating them into the ground in the hope that repetition will substitute for accuracy.
RE: the specific complaint about mismatched weapon profiles --> for much of the game's lifespan Baxx was including generically-named weapons with unique profiles, that were assigned to special characters, in those calculations. He was told in this thread that it could be a deliberate (but nonetheless sneaky and dumb) way for the designers to represent upgraded SC weapons, but he chose not to accept that explanation. I believe it was later confirmed in a FAQ that those SC weapons are accurate and deliberate. So the list of mismatched profiles probably shrunk by half right there and then.
That's not to say that the books aren't a dog's breakfast from an editing standpoint. But nobody has ever really been confused by a weapon profile to the point that it impacted their ability to play. There's usually been an obvious solution available through deduction.

Such as? I'm just curious. I know Goliaths, Orlocks, Eschers and Van Saars books and never experienced that.

I think there's a general agreement the books need better editing.

In Necro books? Multiple times, IIRC.

I really can't recommend Necromunda as a game to anyone unless they have a DM that's willing to read the rules and make calls on what overwrites what.
My only experience with Necromunda was shortly after the Corpsegrinder Cult and Enforcers came out. They were all horribly imbalanced, and what was worse, a friend wanted to play Genestealer Cult, and they had weapons that had rules that straight up contradicted each other. If read one way, the rule was completely useless. If read another way, the rule was overpowered to the point that you might as well not play against it.
Setting up a story and having a knowledgeable DM (or someone willing to read through the morass of rules to figure them all out) is almost a requirement and I really wish they'd capitalize on this part of the game and release a Necromunda narrative DM guide.

It's not almost a requirement, IT IS necessary.
It's a thankless job, but it's fun on its own kind of level.

What GSC weapons are you referring to? I've never heard anyone raise that issue before (and GSC were the gang I used most often pre-pandemic).

My guess is either Adepticon, or an event in-between, small or large. I just started this game and it's kinda neat. Not sure how deep I want to go, but the Ash Wasters and the cars sound really interesting!

So if all the gangs are getting access to vehicles, does this mean that H.B.M.C gets his wish of another round of House books expanded to include a new bike or truck?

Nope, we know the next box is ash wastes rules and probably vehicles and terrain.
It could still be Escher vs Goliath though.

Given the trailer I would expect the box to be Orlock and Ash Waste raiders as that weapon at the end wasn't one of the current houses (I think)

Yes, we'll take anything that expands/revisits stuff from OG necromunda, but c'mon that was lacking.

They did say vehicular combat.
So all those random tires on the rumor engine really are this. I wonder if it's gonna be generic vehicles or like... Goliath truck now, then Escher truck 3 months later, and so on. With a new book for every gang truck.
