Hey folks, With the cancellation of Adepticon 2020 due to the ongoing pandemic, we've decided to launch a 10% discount code for all of our products through end-of-day March 29th. Using the Code "AdeptiCan't" at checkout!

It's one of their unique ships that goes up for sale during special events. It's a mercenary warship for Dropfleet Commander.

It's formal name is a Pungari Thresher Hive Ship; the Pungari apparently being a race more closely aligned with the Shaltari than anyone else, but can be taken by anyone in Dropfleet Commander.
Can I ask what you like using them for? I always want to buy some, but they're such a weird scale... almost 20mm in places.
I believe they are all the same 15mm scale, the only difference is some races are bigger/smaller than others. The only ones that I'm aware of which are unintentionally different are some of the Delvian infantry which were designed a while back by a different contractor who got the scale wrong/miss-judged.
BV also has its entire own games system you can use the models in. It's also got a neat twist in so much as the armies are comprised of the same core components and unit types/slots and feature the same core stats. Whilst army race/faction adds another layer of properties for the whole army on top (a bit like allegiance abilities in Age of Sigmar). So you can build an army of one single faction type; or you can mix and match to create your own army.
There's also a more complex rules set where some units (eg different species and types of cavalry) have slight variations on stats. Quite a few are still similar, but some do vary. So, again, there's an element of variation for variety.
I'm still way back from where I want to be with my project (other things keep getting in the way and GW doesn't help matters in that regard). For me its the ability to run a fantasy game where I can put down rank and file troops and do larger battles with a village or castle and sch in the mix. You can do that with 35mm, but I find that a "castle" is really more of just a single wall or keep at that scale and you don't quite get the same visual experience.

It’s a mercenary ship for Dropfleet Commander. It fires boarding torpedoes in all directions. They’re like a fleet of angry Pakleds.

While AdeptiCon is doing its best to weather the storm, we are keenly aware that many of our exhibitors have been affected in a variety of ways, not only by the cancelation of our convention, but by the overall economic repercussions of the coronavirus.
In the weeks leading up to AdeptiCon, many vendors and exhibitors expanded their inventories in anticipation of high sale volumes over the weekend. Similarly, many exhibitors use AdeptiCon as an event to launch new products or promote existing lines. Unfortunately, the loss to these companies is difficult to calculate. A quick message from us at this uncertain time. We are well aware that many of you may be remaining at home, for now, all of us at RPE are still working as normal. We are making sure that the health of our employees, and therefore customers, is of the highest priority.

The government has confirmed that Post Offices will remain open and that online businesses can continue to post orders. However, I have decided to continue my suspension of posting orders until at least Monday the 30th of March. I don't want to be contributing to the continued spread of coronavirus, as up until this point people in my area had been ignoring social distancing practises.
I will review the suspension of posting on Monday 30th of March - I hope people will be more aware of their actions after a week of government-enforced lockdown.
Therefore, until such time as I resume posting orders, everyone can use the coupon code 'lockdown' to receive 10% OFF their order. Enter the code on the Shopping Basket page in the box marked 'coupon code' and click 'Apply'.
