That army kicked me right in the nostalgia. Nice collection.

Those banners look great, they really snap. Bonus points for the war altar in the back.

That set of wizards really draws the eye.

Ork Shokk attack Gun 2nd ed, converted to be more in line with the rest of the range.

Ork Metal OOP Warboss with Face-eater squig 4th/5th ed.

Ork Heavy metal, (No, really , really heavy... like half a pound...) Mega armour. 3/4th ed. Nob on left for size comparison

Ork RT special Runtherd with OOP Grots, plus an old 3rd ed fantasy (face-eater) cave squig

Ork Oddboyz more recently OOP

Ork other metals (3/4/5th ed.)

Ork Fighta Bommer. Runs as Burna Bomma. (Was an Ebay reclamation project.)

Just finished painting up all of these Koralon for Void (which may be coming back), these recently got made available again from Seb Games but these sculpts have got to be at least 20 years old by now.

I like the Green/purple colour scheme on these. Very Hulk.

They also have some funky looking weapons.

Cheers. Was going for more Devastator/Scorponok vibes (particularly the former with the very bright green), but Hulk works too.

I specifically went with using zero metallics on those, wanted to see if I could and have everything be natural. They're undercoated black then the coral parts are based warboss green and highlighted with vallejo yellow green and washed with CDA green ink. The flesh is vallejo royal purple then a drybrush of that mixed with valljo bronzed flesh then pure bronzed flesh. Weapons are vallejo medium sea grey then highlighted with vallejo Iraqi sand. Whole thing was then washed with Druchii violet and certain bits highlighted up again like the coral to get that lovely bright green like a Constructicon.

Always loved these minis, it was those that broke me out of the GW ecosystem (cannot remember what happened to my original ones, sod's law says I'll find them one day) so when I found Seb Games had them in production again I snapped them up PDQ.

Looks pretty good IMO.

Great job on the Eversor! Love the liquid effects on his drug compounds and the scanner/scrambler bit on his back.

I didn't start playing till 4th edition, but I tracked these guys down unpainted on ebay and tried to give them a suitably retro look.

Nice red on those Bangels.

a few years ago I dug out my old blood angels, my boy now plays Necrons

Love seeing those old rogue trader beakies. I almost managed to get my hands on an unopened box of them for around $50.00 but some scalper outbid me in the last second of the sale. Saw it relisted later for almost $300.00. I think I was most offended that he didn't even want to open them up and put them together...

Good thing my armies have many old models!
