For me personally? Plastic Guardsmen. That's all. All I want out of any fantasy game system is the ability to play regular unaugmented humans.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Maybe once you add the two reveals together? Greater than the sum of their reveals?

Well they previewed that much like this event: A big reveal with many mysteries solved! So far... nada. Zip. Nothing. GSC players even more unhappy.

They might also have cut some of the things they were going to preview. Coronavirus has definitely slowed their release schedule and I wouldn't be surprised if it has pushed back some releases several months, they might not be interested in previewing them at this point in time given the circumstances.

For HH? It's less a reveal and more ticking through a list... Really slowly. They've been dong it for years, and there's only so many. How can there still be more to do?

As for the actual reveals... Some of the cultists are nice, but flame effects can be really hit or miss. The boss model (or whichever has the sword of flame) really doesn't work for me.

The elf release just reminds me of how many opportunities they have passed up to do a plastic Minotaur character, Doombull or otherwise.

Efficiency is the highest virtue.

They attached a Star Wars Holiday Special variety show to this. I don't think they skimped out.

Like everything that was shown but it didn't live up to the hype, I suspect they have held a lot back due to the virus and delays to production.

Pretty glad for the LOTR community. Those people deserve nice stuff.

Was going to grab him, but now I don't really know if I will. . .

Not a huge loss, as I wasn't going to adepticon anyway, but I did like the model.

There’s always, always a few lollygaggers.

And by lollygaggers, I mean poor sods who in the current situation aren’t getting their regular earnings, so have to count every penny.

I think this seems smaller just by the nature of the format.

Normal Adepticon would have attendee's snapping photos of mini's in glass display cases at different angles and such, giving us a bit more "content".

Scions of the Flame made me happy. All of the Warcry stuff has been awesome, imo.

Love the Bile sculpt.

The Aelf stuff is pretty unexpected, mainly the big guys, but Aelves with hammers! The worlds gone mad! I would like some alternate color choices at this point, or to see alternate builds of the kits that we saw, if there are any.

Primarch is cool if a bit static, but I love the defiant Night Lord about to go out like a gangster.

LotR stuff always intrigues me, but I haven't bought anything related to that game since the very first boxed set. Not enough time for another game.

The dark behind the eyes.

I still think Fabius' head is awful but otherwise it's a really nice model. Unfortunately, it's also of no interest to me as I don't play Chaos.

As for those AoS Minotaur things... what. Just... what.

Why are they minotaurs, shouldn't they be Beastmen units? Why are they part-mountain? Why are they using hammers of all things?

Indeed, why are elves using preposterously-large hammers? Thunder Hammers are iffy enough and those are being wielded by men in power armour. These are elves.

Sorry, I know that this will seem like nitpicking to some but for me this beaks my immersion entirely as there is simply no way they'd be able to wield those things.

Also, those helmets look bloody stupid.

It's actually a shame because with more sensible weapons and helmets, they'd actually be really nice models.

Fabius looks... okay. I'm not a fan of the James Woods head but it's not horrible. At least he's not leaping off a rock/ruin I suppose.

I quite like the top half of the Mountain Minotaur but they completely lose me as soon the lanky legs/arms come into focus. It's bad female Draenei art from WoW all over again Also Elf Hammerers? Really? Can't help but feel like someone made a joke about 'WARHAMMER Elves' that got taken too far.

Scions were... eh. I'm mostly indifferent. Not like War Cry's going to be around for more than another year anyway.

Éomer's pretty good even if he doesn't resemble Karl Urban much. More LotR releases are never a bad thing.

Lion looks great as a model, though there's something about his pose that throws me off a bit.

As a 40k fan, this week's reveals have been very disappointing. A single model resculpt doesn't feel like a particularly big release, and Games Workshop's addiction with focusing on releasing special characters is wearing my patience.

The stream is of zero interest to me. If you want to summarise for me, go nuts, but I have absolutely no intention of listening to GW employees waffling to justify their ever more ludicrous models and setting.

Also, if you do want to explain it, I'd be especially interested in the precise method by which those regular-sized elves ignore the laws of physics.

Including the barren wasteland that is new units for Dark Eldar? This should be good.

I'm aware that weapons frequently aren't moulded to realistic proportions, relative to the model, but there are still limits to how far my suspension of disbelief will stretch.

Unless they're also several times heavier then it still wouldn't matter because inertia is a thing that exists.

Gathering the Informations.

The 'minotaurs' aren't. They're constructs created by the Lumineth to house the spirits of the mountains in Hysh. The 'masks' allow for the spirits to take possession of the constructs.

There's a creature that dwells on the mountains that has the horns that the constructs and Aelves both wear, and said creature is effectively immortal unless its horns are removed. The Lumineth use the horns as part of the constructs to allow for the construct to be imbued with life, and the Aelves wear them to effectively imbue themselves with part of the mountain's power.

The more we hear about the Lumineth, the more I'm reminded of Jim Butcher's "Codex of Alera" series.
